VIDEO: Jon Stewart Dismantles Republican Whining After SOTU

Republican desire for bipartisanship is 'premium, grade-A, grass-fed bull-sh*t.'

Jon Stewart went on quite an extended riff last night on the Republican response to the State of the Union Address. Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and others all looked into cameras and talked about how hurt they are that Obama dared say, 'I'm eager to work with you, but the American people don't stand still and nor will I."

Rand Paul, for instance, said, "You can't just say it's my way or the highway. That's not the tone . . ."

"Tone?!!!" Stewart interjected. "You want to talk about tone?!!" He then went through a familiar litany of Republican declarations that they will under no circumstances work with this president to get anything done, that they will block him at every turn, and make it look like his fault. On the night of the State of the Union, Texas GOP Rep. Steve Stockman walked out in the middle of the speech, upping the ante on the guy who yelled "liar" last year in the middle of the speech.

So, no, Stewart said, you should not be buying this "bullsh*t" about these "sensitive Republican souls." Then he carefully delineated just what kind of bullsh*t Congressional Republicans are dishing up. "Premium, grade-A, grass-fed, collected from the polished anuses of Texas longhorn . . ." You get the idea.

Or you will, when you watch this clip:
