Stewart Interrogates the Tea Party: If Boehner and Ryan Aren't Conservative Enough, Who Is?

Jon Stewart blasted the GOP on last night’s The Daily Show for turning on fellow Republicans, John Boehner, Paul Ryan and even Ronald Reagan for not being conservative enough, following last week's congressional bipartisan budget deal. The criticism prompted Stewart to ask: who exactly does the Republican party consider to be conservative?
Stewart then ran through a list of Republicans getting flack for being RINOs (Republicans In Names Only) including House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) for being willing to work with Democrats and tea party favorite, fiscally conservative poster boy, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) who was discredited for “selling out”.
He finally rested upon running tea party candidate, Steve Stockman, who Stewart noted was ranked “the second most conservative senator, behind only Alaska's representative, Painting of Jesus Drilling for Oil."
Stewart then played a clip of Stockman talking in a high-pitched voice in a bid to make fun of transgendered people to which Stewart responded: "I get it, it's funny because he's an asshole”.
It seems then if Stockman doesn’t make the cut, Stewart remarked, perhaps the only person who could live up to the Tea Party ideals, would be Ronald Reagan himself?
Apparently not! Stewart played a clip of a bunch of conservatives including Sarah Palin criticizing Reagan saying “Republicans need to stop worshipping the former president” to which Stewart concluded:
“Holy sh@t! When Ronald Reagan’s just another Hollywood liberal, you got to say to your party, ‘Are you kidding me?’
Watch Stewart drill the GOP.
