"What Privileges Do McCain and Palin Receive Because They're White?" by Tim Wise from BuzzFlash is the top story here at AlterNet today. The piece is about white privilege and lists 13 ways that McCain and Palin have enjoyed preferential treatment in the presidential race. Wise's story is causing a bit of a stir to say the least, as you can see by checking out the comment boards.

But AlterNet isn't the only place where Wise's piece is turning some heads. No, "What Privileges Do McCain and Palin Receive Because They're White?" is making waves over at Digg too.

Users at Digg submit articles, videos, blogs, pictures, and anything else one can find from anywhere on the Internet, and then vote on their favorite submissions. Those that get the most votes, or "diggs," rise to the top, allowing people to see what others are checking out on the web, and sound off on what people are talking about.

One of those things people are talking about right now is Tim Wise's article, as you can see here. And some really enjoyed the article. Digg user Argocurb says, "Every one of the points in the article hits home. Right to the truth!"
