McCain's Mean Streak: He Only Pushed One Woman in a Wheelchair

By Chris Nolan, Firedoglake. Posted September 9, 2008.

What's the big deal? It was only one.

McCain

On Sunday, McClatchy chronicled some of John McCain's most notorious temper tantrums:

There's a lengthy list of similar outbursts through the years: McCain pushing a woman in a wheelchair, trying to get an Arizona Republican aide fired from three different jobs, berating a young GOP activist on the night of his own 1986 Senate election and many more.

McCain observers say the incidents have been blown out of proportion.

Yeah, a senator pushes just one woman in a wheelchair and suddenly it's a big deal.

Tom Harkin has the best line in the McClatchy story:

Digg!

Torture Makes Mad Dogs of People

Anyone who in incarcerated and undergoes daily abuse from sadist guards who enjoy the total authority they have over the prisoner, can build up alot of hate over the years. This hate manifests itself without premeditation after release from prison, and while stored in the subconcious, is ready to lash out, not at the person "in a wheelchair", but at the guard who inflicted relentless pain and suffering during years in prison.

I found myself in this same predicament and know it well. Violent tantrums and brutality are an instant away, unfortunately. Therefore, for the safety of the planet and it's inhabitants, I would not run for president and neither should John McCain.

Fortunately, medications are available to suppress such anger.

we need to see the footage of the "overenthusiastic handshake" that allegedly caused cindy mccain's arm injury. we know that every public moment of mccain's life is filmed these days, so somewhere there is the evidence, either of the handshaker, or of mccain himself injuring his wife. i strongly suspect the latter, considering his inability to control himself and calling her a "stupid cunt' in front of witnesses. come on, folks. where's the outcry? if this man is a wife abuser, WE DO NOT NEED THIS MAN LEADING OUR COUNTRY!!!

Stay away from me, stay away from my children, my friends, my Church, and my pets. Stay out of my kitchen unless you are really hungry, but you eat in front of me and LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU ARE FED...

Stay out of my government’s politics and . . . . Aw damn it stay out of my country you pocket fleecing moribund dictator with infusions of self importance! You make a man angry enough to go out and herd SHEEP. Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!

If you treated my people like you treated that woman and your Viet Nam fellow prisoners I personally would urinate in your coffee. You uncle of a Smilodon, may the entire family of fire ant hives everywhere take up residence in your shorts!

Forgive me people, I wax maudlin.

McCain is much too nasty and anti-social to have his finger on the button, in my opinion.
Pushing a woman in a wheelchair?

NO WONDER Americans prefer him to Obama in some recent polls!
(I am not complimenting Americans, here.)

Anyone who votes for this sick monster deserves what they will get!
Too bad the rest of us will suffer the very horrendous consequences as well.

He had a bad temper BEFORE he was a POW

Any number of his fellow classmates at the Academy have said he had a hair-trigger temper and poor impulse control. Unsurprisingly, spending years in captivity and being tortured made it worse.

What if he has a stroke and Miss Wasilla takes over?

We're screwed either way.

This is how McCain responds to pressure. Panic and destruction. To see this, type in McCain/Forrestal

McCain Aviation Career

McCain crashed 5 jets, plus was responsible for the Forrestal fire. Something made the plane behind McCain fired a rocket, which hit McCain's external center fuel tank, and caused a fire. McCain panicked, and dropped two bombs into the fire.

i can't believe someone hasn't turned mccains' anger back on him. if he even touched me or my family i would do no less than break his finger. he wouldn't last one minute getting into my face. he's a wuss.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?

It would make sense that John McCain would have PTSD. He was a POW for 5 years and doesn't let us forget it. But has anyone researched what that means? Having been tortured, I would imagine he has to have some level of post traumatic stress disorder. Symptoms include anger, rage, volatility, loss of memory, and poor health. There was not much diagnosis and very little treatment for this legitimate problem post Viet Nam. We are only just beginning to diagnose this illness properly and find some treatments that can help. Some medications have been helpful. Is he on medication? Has he received any treatment or is he untreated? I feel compassion for him. The question is "Do we want his hand on "the button?"
