Wouldn't it be nice if bribes were illegal?

Well, being a traitor to America certainly is.
Rot in Hell, treacherous Democrats! I hope the Bush administration spies on YOU!

All of them people who ask me for money which I will now never give them again! Although maybe they will change back if I offer them $5,500. Hey,let the market take care of it. Right.

Did Obama get any of this money? Yes, I KNOW he's in the Senate and not the house...

Sigh, hope dies again...

There is a remedy for these crooks!!!

Here are the words of Thomas Jefferson:

"...God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. …
And what country can preserve its liberties, if it’s rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure..."

We have been given the answer to our problems. We all, collectively, lack the WILL to do what our Founders truly intended!

Elections aren't enough to fix this mess.

Pitchforks and torches!

FISA finks in California

$24,500 Pelosi, Nancy calls for more discussion on FISA after she votes for it. I tried to call her office to inform her my local paper refuses to cover the issue but I could not get through on the phone.

$22,100 Baca, Joe
$12,500 Costa, Jim
$11,000 Cardoza, Dennis
$11,000 Schiff, Adam

$9,000 Tauscher, Ellen

Her office gave ma a copy of the following but answered no questions except for informing me the Contra Costa Times was included in immunity. The political editor at the Contra Costa Times, Dan Borenstein, claimed to be completely ignorant regarding the bill, but he also denied being the political editor. I meet with lots of denial at his paper, I believe it is because I am a native American. I believe this paper discriminates against us based on religion.

Now Ellen T gives them immunity. Go figure. She voted to legalize torture too, I don't expect much better from her. Here is her statement, I wish the paper would fact check it. But why should they? She gives them immunity.

It is a conspiracy to cover up torture and commit further war crimes. The paper is in on the effort to lie us into war, that's why they REFUSED to cover Feinstein's war record before her election. NOW THEY GET IMMUNITY?

Rep. Ellen Tauscher released the following statement:

“Our goal should be to capture and prosecute every terrorist who poses a threat to our national security while holding tight to the privacy rights we cherish as Americans. This bill strikes the right balance. It improves and updates the original FISA legislation from the 1970s while bolstering protections for Americans’ civil liberties at home and abroad – a dramatically different and better approach than the Bush Administration’s original proposal. It will give our intelligence agencies the tools they need to do their jobs, while protecting Americans’ Constitutional rights through real judicial oversight and rejecting the President’s request for blanket immunity for telecommunications companies.

“Moreover, Congress today ensured no future President can again go outside the law. This bill guarantees that the President’s illegal warrantless surveillance program is fully investigated and that safeguards exit to prevent any such future secret program.

“Balancing security and privacy rights is essential to our American values and way of life, and I believe this bill finds common ground that enhances both.”

$7,000 Harman, Jane
$4,000 Berman, Howard

At least I can be proud that my Representative's name doesn't appear on the kickback list. He actually cares what his constituents think and takes that into account when he votes. My hats off to Pete Stark.
