You may have noticed that it's already March. Maybe you even thought we forgot all about fundraising this spring. Ah, but we were just giving you a rest. We still need your support -- in fact, now more than ever.

Rather than trying to be 'cute-sy' with you, using themes and concepts that attempt to make us look clever, we're asking you straight. Will you make an investment in AlterNet?

You know what we give you: the best progressive news and commentary, 24/7 -- all free. Hundreds of articles, videos, blogs, and columns. From our writers and from all over the web.

If you read AlterNet, you're on top of the news. And you do read us -- you and millions of others -- so clearly you like what we produce.

But we're a non-profit. Meaning that we need to raise enough dough every year to stay in business. We do that from foundations, via ad sales on the site, and most importantly, from readers like you!
