Sigmund Freud would be proud. Or would that be, Sigmund Sidney Freud?

While McCain was elaborating on the "stark differences" between his Democratic opponents' positions and his own, he slipped up.

"I'm a proud conservative liberal republic -- conservative Republican," he said.

Uh-ohhhh! Did you hear that collective, Republican panic-attacked, hysterical, eye-popping, Home Alone scream?

After joining with the Richardson, Texas, crowd in hearty laughter, McCain went on to say what he initially meant.

Ohhhh! Hahahaa, hohohoho, chortle and guffaw! It was just a crazy Freudian slip. Please, folks, let me join you in fake hearty laughter after I mop my flop sweat before I tell you what I reeeealllly meant.

"Hello, easy there," he said. "Let me say this. I am a proud conservative Republican and both of my possible or likely opponents are liberal Democrats."

"Eaaasy there", Buckaroos. Myohmy howdy! Isn't he just a caution? Oh. Let. Me. Catch. My. Breath. My stars, Sidney, you missed your calling at Open Mic Night at the Improv.
