Blackwater wants to build a mercenary training base in Potrero, CA, a small town just a few miles from the California/Mexico border, on 824 acres of land, consisting of 15 firing ranges, a helipad, and a heavy vehicle operator's course covering the equivalent of 10 football fields.

Local community leaders like Carl Meyer are working hard to keep Blackwater out of their community. On December 11, 2007, Carl and the "Save Potrero" group successfully recalled the entire Potrero Community Planning Group that had approved Blackwater's plans.

But it's not over. Now, it's up to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to make the ultimate decision. Join the movement now to block Blackwater's base at www.BlockBlackwater.com and www.CourageCampaign.org. Check out the video to your right for more.
