White Supremacists Endorse Ron Paul

Yesterday I was speaking with an old buddy and I asked him how his son is, a freshman who is totally interested in politics. He's loving his new school but then my friend dropped a bomb: the kid likes Ron Paul. I thought he was a DWT reader. I guess not a very careful one.

And just now I was driving home from a nice quiet dinner I had with an apolitical non-American friend. I put on the radio and it was the Big Ed Schultz Show. I braced myself for a fishing report or something lame. It came in the form of one of his brilliant callers singing the praises of Ron Paul. And Big Ed kept encouraging him and yucking it up. Perhaps people like Big Ed and other imbeciles who mindlessly repeat how refreshing is this loon from Texas ought to take a moment or two and acquaint themselves with his long and consistent voting record.

If that's too tedious for you... well, STFU about Ron Paul. There's a reason-- a really good one-- he's being supported by the Nazi fringe of far right politics. Even if my friend's freshman son and Big Ed aren't quite paying attention, David Duke and his fellow Klansmen and Nazis are. And there's a reason they like what they see:
