The firing of New Mexico's David Iglesias, because he refused to do Republican Sen. Pete Domenici's political bidding, has long been at the heart of the US attorney firings scandal, and this longtime Republican is still unemployed and suffering thanks to the incompetence and partisan drive of the Bush administration. Lucky for us, Iglesias is the rare Republican official these days who tells the truth, no matter the cost. In this candid interview with Tavis Smiley, Iglesias talks about his personal disappointment in Gonzales, someone he admired as a fellow Hispanic American who'd made good and also implores Gonzales to "do the right thing", in other words, resign. Check out the video to your right for more.
