The Seinfeld star plays a part-Karl Rove, part-Lord Voldemort character who plots to keep the Democrats road blocked in Congress in this hilarious short video.
Caught On Tape! The GOP's Plot to Bury Congress

Who's killing bills on stem cell research and Medicare? Who's keeping the filibuster against withdrawing from Iraq alive? Why it's Rovemort, played by Seinfeld's Jason Alexander. Rovemort is part-Karl Rove, part Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter series -- an evil little caped creature who works for the Republican Party.

This video premiered at the Yearly Kos convention and was posted on Campaign for America's Future website shortly thereafter.

The significance of such a simple ruse

What does it say about the American people that Rove and Republicans have planned to obstruct and frustrate Senate Democrats with filibusters if necessary, then blame them for getting nothing done, and expecting the American people to fall for that? What are we talking about, here? Bison?

Who does such a plan work on? Driveling imbeciles, meerkats, and the American people. We either should be offended that they even thought that they could get away with something so simple and transparent, or be concerned and in awe of the naivety, docility and complacency of the average American citizen because we know that they can.

How can such people govern themselves? They can't. What could possibly be the fate of a democracy populated by such people? Not democracy. This is whom you have been appealing to in vain for years. Thirty percent still like Bush.

I realize how contemptuous of the American people this post is. But the point is to emphasize what kind of people the left is waiting on to wake up. Do our plans and expectations for the American people aim low enough? When we speak, do they even understand? Do they even hear? How could they? They don't read. They're as simple and unsophisticated as medieval peasants. And just in time, too.

They don't understand politics and they don't care. The majority are too busy trying to keep a roof over their heads and feed the kids. If they get any "downtime", they relax by watching mindless drivel on tv.

They don't feel they've lost their rights. The attitude is "I don't have anything to worry about. I'm not doing anything wrong." The Repubs have dumbed them down with "family values" and "support our troops" issues. I'll bet not one in ten can tell you what Habeas Corpus is, why the Plame case mattered or even point out Iraq on a map.

The latest surrender by Congress to Bushemort has sealed our doom. But 99% of the sheeple will go on as before, not realizing they're living in a police state.

Sometimes I feel like Cassandra in the wilderness.

See y'all in Guantanamo.

...since I'd already seen the video, I thought I was getting the backstory of HTF Jason Alexander agreed to do it. Was he paid? If not, then his politics are in line with mine and I respect him just that much more. Who did the fast-talking? What convinced him to do this?

Shame on me for not reading the credits, huh?

“What is worst than a woman president? A black man president. Now that we have divided them, all we need is a candidate who could win to conquer. What about the Iraq war won’t that unify the people? Look at the polls. Yea, but it is time to think about winning, besides we have already lost the war. We will give the Iraqi government their oil back, make them independent of us, Halliburton is already in place. The Iraqi nationalists will rally, that is what they really want. After all we did not invade them for oil we are freedom fighters, hail democracy. It just might work. Who are we going to use for a candidate? It is too early to let that cat out of the bag. Let them beat up on each other for another four months, then we will become the hero’s. And they called him slick Willie.”

Very true, very true, touche. However the Democrats are not any better. They are one and the same party, otherwise we would never have been in Iraq, we would not be staying and the laws enacted since Bush got in, and even many under Clinton would not be in place.

We need to be VERY afraid of all of them and start voting for people who are not devoted to the globalists.
