DC Madam Exposes GOP Senator as Hypocritical Whoremonger

Howie Klein: While Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) was busy defending the sanctity of marriage against gays and the "Hollywood left" publicly, he was busy denigrating it behind closed doors with prostitutes.

Earlier today the DC Madam put all the phone numbers of her clients on her website:

I think it was up for like 2 hours and then it was down-- but not before an industrious blogger uncovered one of the worst and most vicious homophobic savages in the entire GOP was running after those high-priced professional ladies, Senator David Vitter (R-LA). I have mixed emotions about prostitution but it's a free country-- or it ought to be-- and if an adult woman wants to do it, and takes health precautions (one can only imagine what a man like Vitter is carrying), then why not? The problem is the hypocrisy. Vitter campaigns by denigrating his opponents for being perverts or somehow against the "American Family." Hitler used this same tactic, by the way. It was all for the sanctity of the German family. Here's Vitter in 2004:

This is a real outrage. The Hollywood left is redefining the most basic institution in human history, and our two U.S. Senators won't do anything about it.
We need a U.S. Senator who will stand up for Louisiana values, not Massachusetts's values. I am the only Senate Candidate to coauthor the Federal Marriage Amendment; the only one fighting for its passage. I am the only candidate proposing changes to the senate rules to stop liberal obstructionists from preventing an up or down vote on issues like this, judges, energy, and on and on.
The man is a putrid hypocrite and a typically divisive Republican phony-baloney. And now his campaign consultant has told him to say that God has forgiven him. Here's his statement:
This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible. Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there-- with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way.
He's been doing this for years. Mr. Republican Family Values has been having one extra-martal affair after another and I sincerely doubt he begs his wife for forgiveness after each and every one.

His consistently anti-family/anti-human voting record is what he should be apologizing for. Zero on health care, zero on family planning, zero on housing, zero on human rights and civil liberties, zero on labor rights, zero on Justice for all, zero on education, zero on the environment. And, of course, zero on Iraq, meaning he voted for the Bush Cheney Iraq agenda 100% of the time.

I wonder if any of the girls he was paying were immigrants. A vicious xenophobe, he may have rubber stamped everything Bush asked for since 2000, but he was a leader on killing Bush's immigration reform bill.

Howie Klein was president of his freshman class, drove to Afghanistan and Nepal, became the president of Reprise Records and started a blog called Down With Tyranny!. He's always hated tyrants.
