Al Gore at Live Earth in Washington DC: "They tried to stop this event, but here we are!" [VIDEO]

In all, 2 billion people came together for Al Gore's Live Earth concerts to raise awareness about our climate crisis, but Gore says we still have far to go and we must go quickly.

Al Gore says one day our children and grandchildren will look back at this moment and say one of two things. "What were you thinking? Didn't you see the evidence?" Or, what he would prefer for them to say, "How did they get their act together, and solve the climate crisis." In a heartfelt and rousing speech before a Live Earth audience in Washington D.C., Al Gore outlines his seven-point pledge for combating global warming and basically makes a lot of us sad he isn't running for president next year.
