The head of the anti-gay National Association for the Research and Therapy of Homosexuals (NARTH), Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, was featured on the CNN special on "What is a Christian: Sex and Salvation" last week, and reporter Gary Tuchman tried to engage with Nicolosi about his research and claims that effeminacy and affinity of the arts are signs parents to watch out for lest their child become a homo.

He had a hissy fit and stormed off (video upper right)

A snippet of the transcript via Ex Gay Watch:

TUCHMAN: …So, there are some stereotypes you talk about, how, you know, if a child's effeminate, if he's creative, he's artistic, those are things to look out for. Is that fair to say?
NICOLOSI: Goodbye. You're confusing effeminacy with artistic. I didn't say artistic. Here.
TUCHMAN: Hey, Doctor?
(voice-over): For the record, the word "artistic" is right here in the Love Won Out literature.
Patrick also uploaded a slightly longer version up at Google Video that includes ex-gay-for-pay Mike Haley (who looks like he's seated next to a fellow professional heterosexual, Focus on the Family's Gender Issues Analyst Melissa Fryrear in the clip):
TUCHMAN (voice-over): As for Mike Haley, the recent convert to heterosexuality.
TUCHMAN to HALEY: Any homosexual who wants to, do you think they can become heterosexual?
HALEY: Absolutely. Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, every single person that wants to leave homosexuality can do it.
TUCHMAN (voice-over): But how? Is there really a treatment for homosexuality? Or is the so-called cure just another path to pain?
