Yes, overthrowing Saddam WAS a mistake [VIDEO]

As it became apparent to even the most ardent authoritarians that no WMD would be found in Iraq, the supposedly unimpeachable logic that came pouring out was: The world is a better place without Saddam Hussein.

On the soundbite circuit, dems and many others were forced to concede that point for fear of being one who seemed to "prefer" Saddam.

But lately, from Iraqis themselves, the counter-cry is gaining volume: Even Saddam was better than this.

First, there was this Iraqi woman confronting John Bolton on a recent BBC program, claiming that she's lost more relatives during the 4-year US occupation than during Saddam's entire reign.

Now, the man who actually brought down the statue of Saddam regrets supporting the "coalition" forces and actually says, what was once so "unthinkable" it was used as a republican talking point: "the Americans are worse than the dictatorship..." [watch clip, upper right].
