Grounds For Impeachment

If the Congress doesn't impeach Bush the US owes Richard Nixon an apology. He was a crook and a liar, but this makes Watergate and the other Nixon-era stuff look tame by comparison.

Ron Paul 2008

"In November 2000 Saddam Hussein demanded Euros for his oil. His arrogance was a threat to the dollar; his lack of any military might was never a threat. At the first cabinet meeting with the new administration in 2001, as reported by Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill, the major topic was how we would get rid of Saddam Hussein-- though there was no evidence whatsoever he posed a threat to us. This deep concern for Saddam Hussein surprised and shocked O’Neill.

It now is common knowledge that the immediate reaction of the administration after 9/11 revolved around how they could connect Saddam Hussein to the attacks, to justify an invasion and overthrow of his government. Even with no evidence of any connection to 9/11, or [WMDs], public and congressional support was generated through distortions and flat out misrepresentation of the facts to justify overthrowing Saddam Hussein.

There was no public talk of removing Saddam Hussein because of his attack on the integrity of the dollar as a reserve currency by selling oil in Euros. Many believe this was the real reason for our obsession with Iraq. I doubt it was the only reason, but it may well have played a significant role in our motivation to wage war. Within a very short period after the military victory, all Iraqi oil sales were carried out in dollars. The Euro was abandoned.

In 2001, Venezuela’s ambassador to Russia spoke of Venezuela switching to the Euro for all their oil sales. Within a year there was a coup attempt against Chavez, reportedly with assistance from our CIA.

After these attempts to nudge the Euro toward replacing the dollar as the world’s reserve currency were met with resistance, the sharp fall of the dollar against the Euro was reversed. These events may well have played a significant role in maintaining dollar dominance.

It’s become clear the U.S. administration was sympathetic to those who plotted the overthrow of Chavez, and was embarrassed by its failure. The fact that Chavez was democratically elected had little influence on which side we supported.

Now, a new attempt is being made against the petrodollar system. Iran, another member of the “axis of evil,” has announced her plans to initiate an oil bourse in March of this year. Guess what, the oil sales will be priced Euros, not dollars."

The End of Dollar Hegemony

- US Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, Presidential Candidate

"But the truth is that paying the bills for this aggressive intervention is impossible the old fashioned way, with more taxes, more savings, and more production by the American people. Much of the expense of the 91 Persian Gulf War was shouldered by many of our willing allies. That’s not so today. Now, more than ever, the dollar hegemony-- it’s dominance as the world reserve currency-- is required to finance our huge war expenditures. This $2 trillion never-ending war must be paid for, one way or another. Dollar hegemony provides the vehicle to do just that.

For the most part the true victims aren’t aware of how they pay the bills. The license to create money out of thin air allows the bills to be paid through price inflation. American citizens, as well as average citizens of Japan, China, and other countries suffer from price inflation, which represents the “tax” that pays the bills for our military adventures. That is until the fraud is discovered, and the foreign producers decide not to take dollars nor hold them very long in payment for their goods. Everything possible is done to prevent the fraud of the monetary system from being exposed to the masses who suffer from it. If oil markets replace dollars with Euros, it would in time curtail our ability to continue to print, without restraint, the world’s reserve currency."

Someone should remind these lunatics (er, tell them,) that no country, let alone economy or army can survive THREE fronts at once. Either we publicly 'cut and run' from our search for bin Laden in Afghanistan - and any pretense that this 'war on terra' was ever related to 9/11; 'cut and run' from Iraq, or put away our imperial ambitions before we invade Russia... er, I mean Iran. (Sorry, I was having flashbacks to Hitler again.)

Why was this man reelected in 2004?

So it now looks very probable indeed that the U.S. will bomb, and perhaps nuke, Iranian nuclear installations, and perhaps Teheran itself. And when oil supplies are cut off and chaos breaks out, bombing will inevitably be followed by invasion. And when the U.S. Administation realizes that the number of troops is insufficient and the draft is reinstituted, there will no doubt be protest marches on Washington, but does anyone really think that they will make an iota of difference? And if, however, unlikely it seems, Bush were to be impeached, my understanding is that Cheney would just take over and carry out the same policiies. But what I still don't really understand, looking at the U.S., which I have admittedly never visited, from overseas, is that before his reelection, Bush surely made it pretty clear that if he was reelcted, he would pursue the same course, only more so. And yet, he was reelected with an increased majority, not only in the Electoral College, but in the country as a whole.

What better way to ensure GOP victory in 2008 than to donate the ultimate blame for our failure in Iraq to Iran? With all the Dems demanding withdrawal, the Bushies merely need to "stay their course." A year from now, the propaganda machine will be overflowing with "evidence" of Iranian involvement in Iraq.
The sad thing is that the Bushies have been very successful in goading the Iranians into getting involved in Iraq. We will be involved in a looming WW III by this time 2008. Will peace candidates have a chance? Will diplomacy candidates have a chance? Will there be any diplomatic wiggle-room left by February 2008?
Now, let's look around to see which Republican is the one most likely to carry the Bush warmongering? Do we see a president coming from AZ? Do we see a party-crossover VEEP coming from CT? My, my, my....

DE-EVOLUTION

The Busho-fascists are sub-human. They have de-evolved from Human Beings. As non-humans, they have fewer rights than enemy combatants. They are like any predator; any and all means, however repugnant to human sensibilities, are to be used to kill their prey. Once the kill is made, their overwhelming greed allows no option but to gorge themselves to physical pain. The only human characteristics they retain are sadism, constant, irresistible psychopathic urges and depravity ands degeneracy, particularly in their sexual obsessions.

Sharon taught Bush the 'rule of chaos' method of suppressing the unwanted populations that are pillaged of their land, resources and wealth. Immiserate the victims in every conceivable way, but, more importantly, aggressively stoke confessional, sectarian, racial and ethnic violence among the victims. If the aggressor can successfully force the victims to kill each other, it lightens the aggressor's burden and is an ever-ready excuse for the aggressor not to bargain, or otherwise act in good faith with the victims.

For Bush, Iraq has been a stunning success story. So much so that he green-lighted the Israeli plan to destroy Lebanon months before the Israelis were ready to unleash it against the civilian population, claiming a pretext of their choosing. After bribing the drug lords with $70 million to fight the Taliban, Afghanistan is again in the chaos of jostling drug lords who are once again supplying 90% of the world's heroin, the Taliban having shutdown the drug trade. When the Somali war lords who kicked the Americans out after 'Blackhawk Down' were defeated ending the chaos, Bush bribed the Ethiopian dictator to invade, restore the war lords to power and return Somalia to chaos. In Iran, Bush is teaming-up US special-ops troops with members of a group the US has labeled as terrorist, and sponsoring joint terrorist operations in Iran, as well as targeting power, water treatment and sewage plants, hospitals, population centers and other civilian infrastructure targets for air strikes.

By the way, the US bunker buster nukes can only penetrate a 100 feet of dirt. If the Iranians harden targets with mountains, rock, concrete or steel, it'll be the second country where the US has detonated surface nukes, sending clouds of radioactive dust around the world.

If the US does attack Iran it will be the beginning of the end. Unlike Iraq, the US will receive no international backing for the invasion. Britain will not support such a move, Blair is finished anyway and he was the only one with any support for Bush and his madness. The US will get mired in a war with Iran AND Iraq, what oil is traded will all be in Euros and Europe will benefit. America's time has already passed, the damage being wrought by this monkey on his country will be terminal, we are witnessing the beginning of the end of global US dominance.

If we don't get rid of Bush and his cronies soon, I hate to think what our lives will be like in the near future. Bush and company are the evil-doers and who can blame other countries for trying to protect themselves from us. We tried to impeach Clinton for having extramarital sex and yet we are sitting back watching this stupid moron ruin our country, murder our young people in an unjust war, steal from the poor to give to the disgustingly wealthy, attack with intent to destroy social security, reduce funds and services for the elderly, the young, and the poor, destroy our public educational system, and deplete our social services system. If we continue to sit back and watch this ghoul with disbelief but do nothing, we could wake up one day and find our lives just got a whole lot worse. IMPEACH BUSH AND CRONIES.

WAKE UP, part 1
Posted by: wawa on Feb 12, 2007 6:48 AM

On February 10, 2007, the Rev. Donald Wagner, Director of the Center for Mid East Studies and Associate Professor of Biblical Theology and Religion at North Park University spoke to 165 concerned citizens of the world in Birmingham, Alabama during Sabeel’s [Arabic for The Way] Conference about the fastest growing cult in the USA;

The politically driven -and neo-con ideology- of Christian Zionism.

“I grew up in west New York in a Christian fundamentalist home steeped in the Christian Zionism theology particular to the Scofield Bible.

"According to their “meta-narrative” of scripture of Pre-Millenial Dispensation we are now in the last days of history and only those ‘born again’ will be raptured out of the Lake of Fire.

"The statehood of Israel in 1948 was their marker to begin their countdown.”

Throughout history Christians have at times twisted scripture to justify violence: for the Crusades, for Anti-Semitism, and for slavery.

Today Christian Zionists - particularly those with dispensationalist leanings - have re-popularized this 19th century heresy. While their motives are couched in terms of compassion toward the Jewish people based on a literal mis-reading of scripture they are inherently anti-Semitic for unless the Jews convert to their small god, the Jews will be left behind in a nuclear holocaust.

“Briefly stated, Christian Zionism is a movement within Protestant fundamentalism that understands the modern state of the country-region Israel as the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and thus deserving of political, financial, and religious support. Christian Zionists work closely with the Israeli government, religious and secular Jewish Zionist organizations, and are particularly empowered during periods when the more conservative Likud Party is in control of the Knesset.

"Both the secular and religious media place Christian Zionists within the larger Protestant evangelical movement, which claims upwards of 100-125 million supporters in the United States. To be more precise, Christian Zionism should be placed within the fundamentalist wing of Protestant Christianity, as the evangelical movement is far large and more diverse in its theology and historical development."

WHY SHOULD you care?

Jesus was born, lived and died under occupation.

To believe, love and follow Jesus means one will do as he taught which was to be NON-VIOLENT, even while being nailed to a cross.

Christians are called to be reconcilers, to be nonviolent and to pursue justice.

The work of the Church is reconciliation, peace and justice.

The heresy of Christian Zionism which is the politically driven movement within Protestant fundamentalism views the modern state of Israel as the fulfillment of Biblical prophesy and is thus deserving of unconditional economic, moral, political and theological support.

The Religious Right, Zionism, Neo-conservative ideology of empire building and Post 9/11 fear have been the perfect match for the heresy of Christian Zionism.

While fundamentalists number less than 25% of Evangelicals, the 19th century invention of the rapture has gone mainstream and today 59% of Christians believe the rapture will be an actual historical fact.

The "Left Behind" series espouses the Myth of Redemptive Violence; an erroneous concept that believes evil can be over come by violent force.

Post 9/11, the convergence among the neo-conservative ideology of empire building, the Pro-Israeli Lobby, Christian fundamentalism and Israeli political leaders who have defied International Law and ignored the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights have brought us to this crossroads in time.

While most mainline Churches and progressive Christians consider Christian Zionism irrelevant or ridiculous, these fundamentalist's are a well organized well funded force that demonizes Muslims, are inherently anti-Semitic, who ignore the suffering of the indigenous people of the Holy Land and whose heretical readings of scripture leads to the moral justification of empire, apartheid, colonialism, and oppression.

When the disciples asked Christ if he was going to restore the kingdom of Israel, JC replied: You are not to know the times nor seasons; you are to be my Witness’s and live the Gospel of love, compassion and forgiveness.

JC also promised that it is The Peacemakers who are the children of God.

It's always been Iran...

Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
I think the real and “only” reason that we have invaded the country of Iraq is starting to become clear. Everything to this point has been smoke, mirrors and feint.

Iraq was never the final destination…it was always a waypoint, a springboard where this administration could store troops, materiel and aircraft preparatory to an Iranian invasion which is yet to come.

True, the existing civil war in Iraq has delayed the initial invasion but, now that this president can see the end of his “final” term, there is no more time that can be wasted. He must be deeply involved in a “true” war by the final year of his “final” term.

Had neocon certainty and hubris been less and their thinking and planning been better; if they’d put the necessary people on the ground in 2k3 to throttle the insurgency before it gained any impetus, the necessary raison d’etre for the invasion would already have been found and the start of the US/Iranian War would already be something for the history books.

This president has told us many times that our whole Mid-East paradigm would have to shift; he, his Veep and their lieutenants have said that the State of Israel will have a new security in their new vision. It seems obvious that he believes that Israel can’t/won’t have that security as long as Iran remains an Islamic state ruled by mullahs.

His beliefs are seen by many to be driven by what he considers to be the word of God. He certainly seems to believe that he has been chosen to protect Israel and do what he believes is God’s will.

So, very soon in the coming weeks/months and according to plan but somewhat behind schedule, there will be a Gulf of Tonkin incident. This president will begin bombing Iran with an invasion to follow as soon as the necessary fear and religious hate is generated and war fervor is whipped into a creamy and palpable froth.

As the new war (as well as the two old ones) starts to go badly and the mushrooms start to grow, there will be new outbursts of discontent on the home front and, possibly, riots. Citing Lincoln, the announcement of the suspension of habeas corpus for the general public will happen shortly thereafter.

And, finally, using “unitary presidential” powers, the next presidential election will be postponed “until peace and order is restored”.

America is not immune to a military coup d’etat. Or do you really believe the masters of the Pentagon will sit idly by and watch their precious volunteer Army be destroyed by our misadventures in Iraq?

How do the generals and admirals feel about the privatized armies of Kellogg, Brown and Root? Are these mercenaries getting more than their rightful share of the public treasury? Soldiers they trained are selling their skills to the highest corporate bidder. What would MacArthur say about such an abomination? Duty, honor and country my ass!

Will we one day witness the Military District of Washington seizing the White House and installing a “unity” government, live on CNN? Will Abrams tanks and Bradleys camp out in DuPont circle and Foggy Bottom?

We’re becoming a banana republic like Chile or Argentina, run by ever-greedier oligarchs. The middle class is fast disappearing. What if the children of the poor are growing tired of spilling their blood to make Exxon and Halliburton filthy rich? Will these citizen-soldiers rise up against their corporate masters? That’s how banana republic soldiers like Juan Peron came to power.

Remember Burt Lancaster and “Seven Days in May?” Betcha we’ve got a few true-believer officers just like this character who secretly plot scenarios for restoring “honor and justice” to American government at the point of a bayonet.

Why are so many soldiers being sent to the sand box right when this administration is in the most political trouble? Perhaps Cheney and company are afraid that their own “troops” will turn on them and throw them in chains where they belong.

Of course all these paranoid musings beg an obvious question – will the legions crossing the Rubicon (or the Potomac from nearby Fort Bragg) be led by a Julius Caesar or a Francisco Franco?

Think this nightmare scenario can’t happen right here in the USA? Well, nobody ever expected the Spanish Inquisition. Never forget the soldiers’ proverb, “The Army takes care of its own.”

If the Democrats don’t grow a spine and fix this problem soon, I greatly fear our generals and admirals will “take care of their own” and impose their own solution.

Perhaps all the King’s horses and all the King’s men can do a better job with broken Humpty Dumpty than King George the Shrub. But I doubt it.

The whole sordid story is told well in "Vice: Dick Cheney and the Hijacking of the American Presidency" by Lou DuBose and Jake Bernstein.
Yet, it is a mistake to focus only on George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Condi Rice, and the other "neocons."
Many corporations and "silent partners" who own, control, work for, and invest in companies like Halliburton, Kellog Brown and Root, General Electric, Bechtel, Boeing, and the major oil companies and defense contractors are also to blame for our misguided foreign policy over the past 30 years.
Many Democrats also are major stockholders in these firms; Lyndon Johnson was the major political "angel" for Brown and Root during the Vietnam War, and his widow Lady Bird wound up as the largest single stockholder of Brown and Root for a time....is it a coincidence that Brown and Root was awarded the federal contract to build Cam Ran Bay Naval Base in Vietnam, the largest single military contract in US history?

Sadly, too many "public servants" of both major parties have financial interests in the military and oil companies, and they have allowed their personal and family financial interests to dictate US foreign policy, earning us the hatred of many people around the world, especially Arabs, Iranians, and others living in oil-producing nations who know that the USA has selected, financed, and controlled corrupt and dictatorial puppet leaders like the Shah of Iran and Saddam Hussein, over the past 30 years...

So, we must take an honest look at leaders of both parties, and their corporate donors, and also at the wealthy families in the US who really own and run our government through their loyal agents like the Bushes and Cheneys....

What American in his right mind would allow this dynamic duo within 50 yards of our children, let alone to run the affairs of our nation and control our nuclear arsenal? What's it going to take to get these criminals and all their ass-kissers and suckups out of office and into prison, where they belong? By any measure, the Bush/Cheney regime and Republican dominated congress has been the most corrupt and lawless governing body in our nation’s history. Who can count the lies they’ve told and the laws they’ve ignored, capriciously redefined and violated during the last six years? Even now with the Democrats in the majority, they continue to subvert the democratic process. Backed by a plutocratic owned media, they terrorize and herd Democrats like sheep by maligning their patriotism and commitment to our troops.
Troops they recycle again and again into battle and treat with utter disdain. When have they ever shown concern and regard for the lives of our troops and their families?

What have we gained by illegally invading Iraq? Our control of Iraqis oilfields is tenuous at best and can only be maintained by an open ended commitment and ever increasing waste of our national wealth to pay for an occupying force surrounded by millions of tribal guerillas intent on slaughtering our troops and each other for control of the oil. That doesn’t seem like a well thought out plan for success.

Not content with the disaster they’ve already created, this junta of war profiteers now seems intent on escalating and provoking wars with Iran and Syria. When will it ever end, and how much will it cost us? Not just in terms of our national wealth, but more importantly, how many more troops are they willing to sacrifice for profits they will never share with the American people. The only trickle down taking place is the drip, drip, drip of our troops’ blood into Iraqi sand.

These are evil men and they should be dealt with according to the Law of the Jungle that they have subjugated us with.

Two years into an investigation of AIPAC’s possible role as a spy front for Israel, Larry Franklin, a mid-level Pentagon Analyst is observed by the FBI giving classified information to two officials of AIPAC suspected of being Israeli spies. AIPAC hires lawyer Nathan Lewin to handle their legal defense, the same lawyer who defended suspected Israeli spy Stephen Bryen in 1978.

Larry Franklin worked in the Pentagon Office of Special Plans, run by Richard Perle, at the time Perle (who was caught giving classified information to Israel back in 1970) was insisting that Iraq was crawling with weapons of mass destruction requiring the United States to invade and conquer Iraq. There were no WMDs, of course, and Perle has dumped the blame for the “bad intelligence” on George Tenet. But what is known is that the Pentagon Office of Special Plans was coordinating with a similar group in Israel, in Ariel Sharon’s office.

With two suspected Israeli spies (at least) inside the office from which the lies that launched the war in Iraq originated, it appears that the people of the United States are the victims of a deadly hoax, a hoax that started a war.

The leaking of the investigation of AIPAC to the media on August 28th, 2004 gave advance warning to other spies working with Franklin. The damage to the FBI’s investigation was completed when United States Attorney General John Ashcroft ordered the FBI to stop all arrests in the case.

The organization at the heart of the latest spy investigation, AIPAC, wields tremendous influence over the US Congress. Through its members and affiliated PACs, AIPAC directs a huge flow of campaign cash in favor of, and occasionally against, Senators and Representatives solely on the basis of their willingness to support Israel. As an example, in 2002, U.S. Rep. Artur Davis, D-Birmingham received so much help from pro-Israeli pacs that 76% of his campaign budget came from OUTSIDE the state of Alabama, mostly from New York.

Walter C. Uhler Excerpt:

According to James Risen, writing in his recent book, State of War: "Israeli intelligence played a hidden role in convincing Wolfowitz that he couldn't trust the CIA."54 Mossad's "intelligence officials frequently traveled to Washington to brief top American officials, but CIA analysts were often skeptical of Israeli intelligence reports, knowing that Mossad had very strong -- even transparent -- biases about the Arab world." 55

One might ask why Wolfowitz failed to detect these same obvious biases. Presumably, he was neither a Likud Zionist or an "Israel-firster." Yet, according to Risen, "After each Israeli briefing, the CIA would issue reports that were circulated throughout the government, but they often discounted much of what the Israelis had provided. Wolfowitz and other conservatives at the Pentagon became enraged by this practice; they had begun meeting personally with top Israeli intelligence officials and knew which elements of the Mossad briefings the CIA was downplaying."56

Risen adds that "Wolfowitz personally complained to Tenet about the CIA's analytical work on Iraq and al Qaeda."57 Tenet dismissed his complaint. But Wolfowitz was not to be denied. After all, according to Francis Brooke (Chalabi's lobbyist in Washington), in February 2001, Wolfowitz called Brooke to say that he was so committed to removing Saddam Hussein, "he would resign if he couldn't accomplish it." 58 "So Paul set up his own unit" 59 to find Iraq's links to al Qaeda. "And then that really pissed off people at the CIA." 60

For his part, Likud Zionist and "Israel-firster" Feith needed to prove his assumption "that Saddam had ties to al-Qaeda and was likely to hand off WMD to terrorists" 61 Feith, you'll recall, was one of the unregistered foreign agents, who co-authored the 1996 report advising Israel's prime minister to topple Saddam and launch preemptive strikes against specific Arab states. He "got his current position…only after Perle personally intervened with Rumsfeld, who was skeptical about him." 62 It must have been his pro-Israel and anti-Saddam zealotry that moved Perle, for if we are to believe General Tommy Franks, Feith was "the fucking stupidest guy on the face of the earth."63

Feith staffed the PCEG with his co-author of the 1996 report (and fellow unregistered agent for Israel) David Wurmser, as well as Michael Maloof. Wurmser and Maloof would be "working deductively, not inductively: The premise was true; facts would be found to confirm it." 64 As the authors of Vanity Faire write in their exceptional expose, The Path to War, "the advocates of regime change in Iraq realized that, for any American invasion to enlist support, both domestically and internationally, links between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda needed to be proved." 65 Thus, in light of the CIA's September 21, 2001 President's Daily Brief, somebody needed to fix the facts!

At this point, one might ask, as George Packer does in his highly acclaimed book, The Assassin's Gate: "Does this mean that a pro-Likud cabal insinuated its way into the high councils of the U.S. government and took hold of the apparatus of American foreign policy to serve Israeli interests?" In general, Packer's answer is no. But "For Feith and Wurmser," Packer answers yes: "the security of Israel was probably the prime mover." 66

There's a constitutional provision for "forcefully" removing a renegade executive from office, it's called ARREST, and can be based on "incompetence" alone, and does not require a coup... we have a duty and ample evidence to save this country for posterity against these oil-rigged monsters.

Fembot Anna Nicole Smith was powered-down in order to re-task the secret plot to seize Caspian Sea oil and gas production ("Step III" after Iraq and Iran).

Smith married James Howard Marshall II in 1994. Marshall made his fortune in oil, including investments in Standard Oil of California (Chevron), Ashland Oil, and Koch Industries.

The largest privately held US company by 2005, Koch Industries has an annual turnover of $80 billion. The Koch family has used its wealth to support the creation of the John Birch Society, Cato Institute, and a secret fembot research project codenamed "PillPopper."

The PillPopper program was superceded by project "FossilBot," which produced 4 versions of the current Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney.

In order to produce enough fuel for FossilBots 1, 2, and 3, Dick Cheney's VP Energy Taskforce in 2001 decided to seize the oil and gas fields of the Caspian Sea. Via a "cake walk" from Kuwait, through Baghdad and Tehran, to Baku. [FossilBot 4 runs off a hydrogen fuelcell]

Rogue agents from the PillPopper fembot project thought the best way to fuel the FossilBots was with Venezuela heavy crude.

Fembot Anna Nicole Smith was powered-down in order to demonstrate to the White House that Florida, not Iraq, is the gateway to FossilBot energy needs.

BUSH is a Public Relations Director, not the Brains!

BUSH was "installed" as the Public relations director for the Oil companies and the military industrial complex (MIC). This is why he has been teflon to impeach ability.
He really isn't smart enough to be the "leader'" of anything. This is why there is a "firing" from below instead of the CEO of incompetency in all the blunders that completely over whelm the whole administration.

Now as the "Benchmarks" must be met in the endless war before the end of Bushs' administration ends, the timetable is pressed to set the stage for the next chapter in the "theater" of the Middle East.

Who will be "Shoved" in our face to continue the Fascist regime? It is happening now.
In our faces is being pushed Obama. The media is slamming the propaganda relentlessly, as if he is the only democratic candidate running. But why?

Here is what I think. The vast registered republican voting base is primarily a bunch of bigots, confederates. Sure, I know it's a generalization. But hear me out. Deeply ingrained in the minds of most Americans is a secret bigotry. I don't think it's ready to let go of. It's a primitive society in disguise, wrapped in fear and hiding behind a curtain of class structure and undeclared brotherhood.

SO with the republicans now pushing the candidates to counter the Demos, the game plan is betting that if Obama is the elected in the primaries that the nation as a whole will vote in a white "brother".

Now it's not that I support Obama or not, the question is who is going to keep the BUSH Regimes middle east plans in motion? Obama? I don't think so. or....
... how do those oppose to the whole Iran /Iraq lie realign the minds of the system to a hospitable world?

The domination of OIL POWER's controlling world economics is what is happening. The threat of nuclear annihilation is the tool to keep the bankrupt US economic power from falling to a less than controlling faction as a superpower.

As I see it, the only power real-peace keepers have is the refusal to feeds the opposing powers. Remember the republicans threatening using the "nuclear option" (which is a political ploy not the "big nukes"), should the Democrats filibuster?
Well how come the Demos don't us it?

Another weirdness, the Republicans congress walks away from voting to debate the escalation...
... "they" say if we as voters don't vote we vote inadvertently to accept the out come of a vote as our vote. SO evidently the republicans did vote, LET THE RECORD SHOW it.

Well the DEMOS better start not just "showing" some schutzpa but really slamming the system and taking control. Demos have to quit pussy-foot diplomacy in congress and chiseling out a real peace plan, not an escalation avoidance plan.

Decline of the American Empire
Posted by: Rathan47 on Feb 12, 2007 11:29 AM
Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
All the pieces of all the puzzles, the whispers, the innuendo, half-truths and lies, appear to me to have all been for one purpose and one purpose only...to maintain American standing with the economic and political world structure. The Oil Crisis of the 70's, the Iran-Contra deals of the 80's, Gulf War I, 9/11, Afghanistan, and Gulf War II have all played out because they had to, in order to maintain, and sometimes strengthen US control over money, oil and power.

Let's do a little thought experiment. Let's imagine that you are the United States of America, you are the entire country. You've won your freedom from England and are branching out on your own in the New World. You are filled with industrious people who are conquering a brave new land. Self-reliant and hard-working, your people create a new growing country, building on the inherent resources and multiplying (we'll leave out how the Native Americans were overrun and their land stolen for this to be achieved, or that much of the labor force consisted of displaced and enslaved Africans).

As a country, you meet the Industrial Age head on, building a growing Manufacturing Complex and beginning to compete on the World stage. Meanwhile, across the globe, the former Empire of Britain begins to contract due to over expansion and a loss of wealth from War.

At the turn of the 20th century, with the growing shift away from a gold based monetary system, wealthy members of your country realized the ease with which vast sums of wealth can be gained by controlling the means of the now more standard paper based system. The Federal Reserve is created to allow these people to basically create wealth from nothing, printing more money as needed. Thus freeing you as a country from being limited in your spending to only the amount of gold in your reserves.

The World begins to shift from a coal/steam based system to an oil based system. World Wars break out and ravage most of Europe, further weakening the power base of the Old Guard and moving you further ahead. With a glut of wealth from production, War profits, and the Federal Reserve, you move to the forefront as a World Power.

Using abundant oil imports and free flowing cash, you shift your economy over the next fifty years, slowly phasing out production and instead using your resources to import cheap goods that can be sold to a now burgeoning populace. The increase in money with a decrease in gold reserves lead to inflation that causes the poverty level to rise from $116 in 1900 to $19,066 in 1997.

All the new cars, boats, TV's, and stereos need oil to make, transport and power. Oil dependency grows, and with the World starting to become concerned about the stability of your Dollar, you convince OPEC to convert all their sales to US Dollars in exchange for protection from invasion or overthrow. Thus propping up your status.

Decline of the American Empire, Continued
Posted by: Rathan47 on Feb 12, 2007 11:30 AM

Like a now gluttonous beast, you are feeding upon yourself, continuing to spend money you don't have, continuing to outsource your production, becoming increasingly defendant on foreign oil imports to keep the process going. Your people become more and more demanding and spoiled, consuming more and more resources. Your political and economic power are matched by your military might, which you begin to use to prop up your current World standing.

However, you know that trouble is coming. You have consumed and consumed, indebted yourself, and devalued your currency. The oil supplies that feed you are a finite resource, and with much of it squandered, the remaining quantities are critical. Not only do you need them to survive, but their very sale in US Dollars keeps your whole economic system afloat.

Like a severally obese animal that sees a forced diet coming, you decide to do everything you can to avoid it. You use your military to prevent the invasion of Kuwait (as you said you would when you made your deal with OPEC). You use your military and intelligence services to meddle with and overthrow other governments that would cause problems in your plans or your visions. You invade an oil rich country on the grounds that they were going to "do you harm". You threaten another oil rich country for "interfering" with the first war.

You are reaching out like a greedy child, wrapping your arms around all the toys and growling and stamping your feet if anyone questions. But your "toys" won't last forever...

No matter how this all plays out, no matter if the US invades Iran or not, no matter if the Democrats or Republicans win the 2008 Presidential Elections, whether or not 9/11 was an inside job or not, the simple fact is this:

The US economy cannot continue in it's current model. An oil based economy, backed by a shaky dollar, and a huge National Debt means that the US is up to it's eyeballs in trouble. It means more Wars, more fighting, more suffering. It means more poverty, an increasing gap between rich and poor.

It means a huge shift in every aspect of life not just in the US, but around the World, as the World Economy corrects itself for a century of overspending and borrowing against the future. And this shift won't come without a fight against it. It won't come easily.

Maybe a voice of reason will come forward. Maybe the US will decide to do what Great Britain did, and let go of it's Empire in order to save itself. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the case, not with the way things are now.

But like it or not, change is coming...

Christina Rocca, who delivered the threat to the Taliban in summer 2001 (A carpet of gold or a carpet of bombs...) has been doing the typical globetrotting business... in 2005 she was warning Pakistan and India not to invest in an Iranian gas pipeline:
Not the right time to invest in Iran gas, says Christina Rocca 2005

You can read more on that issue at CentGas, Enron, Rice, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Karzai, Rocca & their Taliban allies... Wayne Madsen, 2002

This is who this administration works for - the London/New York financial axis that attempts to control the global oil and gas supply, and make sure that all transactions in oil pass through the London and NYMEX exchanges, wo they can take their cut, while keeping renewable energy from taking over the energy markets. This is Wall Street's War - that's the primary driver, and that's why Wall Street and their internationalist elites love Bush so much.

For more on this see Afghanistan, Central Asia, Georgia: Key to Oil Profits, by Karen Talbot, Censored 2003 (TWT),

Meet Team America - Condi Rice's Oil & Gas crew at State:

Josette Shiner, Under Secretary for Economic, Business, and Agricultural Affairs
Daniel Fried, Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs
Christina Rocca, Assistant Secretary for South Asian Affairs

Promoting democracy - it's amazing they can say that with a straight face, but that's what they get paid to do, and they also get trained in how to lie effectively while looking you in the eye.

What is NOT in dispute now is that when Democracy is subverted with the complicity of even the Supreme Court, you -we- get saddled with regimes of connivance that do not reflect the (always) wise choice of the electorate.
How do you spell ... (now initiated people, prepare yourselves: sneer, roll your eyes, laugh in unison as taught, sneer again) "conspiracy"? Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law defines 1: an agreement between two or more people to commit an act prohibited by law or to commit a lawful act by means prohibited by law. Florida and Ohio are just names of places. The names of the lost lives of mostly hapless +3,100 American soldiers, +30,000 wounded, +500,000 Irakis dead, maimed, or disappeared, are shushed and unrecognized. While this massacre is inflicted upon the poor of these nations, Hillary from the AIPAC podium tells the blingberg crowd admiringly "Look at you!"
A 'new' seal of the US should read (L)et Plutocrats own'em.

And that says something for the mind-bogglingly devious nature of the neo-cons and Bush. Brzezinski, a mad man himself is not one to normally disapprove of covert actions, amoral balance-of-power equations, and wars made this statement recently. If a founding member of the Trilateral Commission (along with Rockefeller) and big player in the international globalist circles is concerned then we'd better worry:

"If the United States continues to be bogged down in a protracted bloody involvement in Iraq, the final destination on this downhill track is likely to be a head-on conflict with Iran and with much of the world of Islam at large. A plausible scenario for a military collision with Iran involves Iraqi failure to meet the benchmarks; followed by accusations of Iranian responsibility for the failure; then by some provocation in Iraq or a terrorist act in the U.S. blamed on Iran; culminating in a "defensive" U.S. military action against Iran that plunges a lonely America into a spreading and deepening quagmire eventually ranging across Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.."
-Note: The emphasis by underlining and the use of quotation marks around defensive is found in the original copy and presumed to be that of Dr. Brzezinski.

One of the big lies about all this is that the USA is interested in spreading "democracy" in the Middle East. Now, Tehran will not accept subservience to American and Israeli power, and along with that, American corporations , American geopolitical power and Israeli/USA Middle-Eastern objectives. Remember, the United States, no longer really a democracy herself, has no problem supporting tyrants and dictators, just look at Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt and the like. After all, and as for Bush, he was not even elected himself if you look at the election of 2000. Take that, along with the torture programs, incarcerations, and illegal spying, and you hardly have a very "democratic" leader here at all. Now, starting with Saddam, he just would not "play ball," and had to be "taken out." The USA also tried to "take out" Chavez, remember the failed coup attempt? The problem for Bush with the Iranians, they will not accept "marching orders" from Washington D.C. and Tel Aviv, and for that reason, they must be made "to pay."
