Both House clerk Jeff Trandahl, who oversaw the page program and House Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, testified to the House Ethics Committee that Hastert, or high ranking aides, knew about suspicious emails, that had "predator written all over them," months ago.
Boehner originally told The Washington Post that he spoke with Hastert earlier this year about Foley's e-mails to the Louisiana boy. He later said he was not sure he had told Hastert, and still later said he was fairly certain he had told the speaker. But wait, nobody cares about Foley, right? It's all about Iraq and terrorism. Well, October is on pace to be the deadliest month in two years and Bush has even begun to compare it to the situation in Vietnam... Could it be about the environment? Healthcare?
Better put in a call to Diebold.
