Blacker than thou, cracker!
I want to piggyback on Lindsay's post about those vile race-baiting ads that accuse the Dems' of having a single-minded focus on killing as many black babies as possible, especially when, you know, "you make a little mistake with one of your 'hos.'"
The ads are being sponsored by America's PAC. Its primary funder is one J. Patrick Rooney, a retired businessman and "a strong proponent of school choice scholarship programs." According to Sourcewatch, Rooney was the driving force behind a prominent black conservative group, People of Color United, which ran ads on African-American radio stations bashing Kerry in 2004.
Rooney is proud of his leadership position in the all-black church he attends, telling the Washington post "They finally elected me over other black people to their church board."
Here's Rooney:

I've written previously* about the fact that many -- not all, but most -- black conservative groups are in fact backed by White Republican operatives. These include such upstanding members of the African-American community as …

And if you think that looks like the cast of some cheesy 80s movie about Crips and Bloods duking it out on the mean streets of South Central, you should see the funders behind these groups.
*Regular readers may recall that the article resulted in my getting my ass kicked on Air America Radio by noted African American wingnut and WorldNetDaily writer Mychal Massie. Good times.
