Q: What's the best way to get people to think your country is all about bestiality, incest, Jew-hatred and women-as-chattel?

A: Get all bent out of shape because Borat (aka: Sasha Cohen, aka Ali G) has a popular, buffoonishly satirical character, based on stereotypes of Eastern Europeans -- including those above.

For example: A $40-50 million film, according to Michelle Collins:

"[E]ntitled Nomad, will follow the journey of a warrior (who loves chickens and prostitutes) 'born to unite the Kazakh tribes and free them from the Jungar occupiers of western Mongolia,' i.e. Sleepless in Seattle 2."
Or: Placing a 4-page ad in the NY Times promoting all the ways in which Kazakhstan, a nation seldom on the radar of even the most geographically-astute U.S. citizens. Of course, they're more interested in remaining an oil-rich nation in good standing with history's largest military than in general PR...

"In the last 15 years, there has not been a single case of a newspaper or television station harassing the followers of any particular faith ... there is an overall atmosphere of tolerance and understanding of all faiths in our society." (Bestweekever)
