Republicans want amnesty for killers

19 Republicans voted against a bill stating that "the Government of Iraq should not grant amnesty to persons known to have attacked, killed, or wounded members of the Armed Forces of the United States."

One wonders if Republicans voted against it simply because it was a Democrat-generated bill...
Among the naysayers, John "toe-the-line" McCain. John Aravosis writes, referring to some language in the bill calling our armed forces "heroic": "In all fairness to the Republicans, maybe they simply objected to the fact that we called US service members 'heroic.'" Here's the list of shame:
