There is no "War on Terror."

There is, however, a "war" on the U.S. Constitution.

Since Sept. 11, 2001, we've learned that we can take a punch and move on. We've faced far worse threats to our national survival -- the Civil War, the War of 1812, World War II, to name a few -- but we never abandoned our Constitution.

Until now.

Terror is an emotion. Emotions are part of human nature and cannot be eradicated. A "War on Terror" is therefore a war on humanity. The Bush administration has exploited the fear and shock of a nation in the wake of a surprising and dramatic act of violence to keep our fear and paranoia at a constant boil. Why?

The evidence suggests the whole point has been to seize power and steal money. We are witnessing a creeping coup in the United States, the overthrow of the idea, promulgated by our founders, and by writers like Tom Paine, that the "Law is King":

But where says some is the king of America? I'll tell you Friend, he reigns above, and doth not make havoc of mankind like the Royal of Britain. Yet that we may not appear to be defective even in earthly honors, let a day be solemnly set apart for proclaiming the charter; let it be brought forth placed on the divine law, the word of God; let a crown be placed thereon, by which the world may know, that so far as we approve of monarchy, that in America the law is king. For as in absolute governments the king is law, so in free countries the law ought to be king; and there ought to be no other. But lest any ill use should afterwards arise, let the crown at the conclusion of the ceremony be demolished, and scattered among the people whose right it is.
The Bush administration has explicitly denied this, claiming unlimited executive power under the president's war powers against civilians and citizens. The president is not your "commander in chief" if you do not serve in the armed forces. On the contrary, he works for you, and he works for your representatives in the Congress.

There is no "War on Terror." There is only a war on the law; a conscious destruction of the U.S. Constitution. This is not the first time right-wing interests have attempted to overthrow the U.S. government. An attempt was thwarted during the FDR administration. Then, as now, America's greatest enemies came from among the ranks of the ruling class.

Bushco has enslaved Americans into a psychological reign of "War on Terror" that amounts to a criminal protection racket. We are told we must be afraid. That is, we are told we must live in terror. This is to protect us from … terror. Then, because we feel terrified, we must give up our freedom -- freedom to write what we believe without fear of reprisal, freedom of due process and habeas corpus protection, freedom from secret intrusion into our private lives by government.

Monday was Memorial Day. On that day we remembered countless patriots who died and fought for those freedoms our president tells us we must abandon … in the name of "freedom."

If there were really a "War on Terror," an emotion, Wes Craven would be hiring a lawyer: He scares people. The "War on Terror" is a sham. You know what changed after Sept. 11th? We, the people of the United States, forgot how strong we are. We gave in to fear, when the only thing we should have feared was fear itself. Osama bin Laden wants you to be afraid. So does George Bush.

I know I'm not alone when I say I'm an American and I'm not afraid. I know I'm going to die. I accept that I'm going to die, no problem. What I do not accept and will not accept is the notion that I must live as a slave to fear for the purposes of craven, cowardly men who, in their time, pissed the bed instead of fighting an actual war, later to become powerful, using that power to line their pockets with my tax dollars. Give me liberty or give me death. Take your "terror" and shove it.

We went after the criminals who attacked us when we invaded Afghanistan, then quickly abandoned any pretense of being concerned with actual terrorists by fighting a ginned-up war of aggression against a tin-pot dictator for whom our chickenshit president and his buddies have always had a hard-on. If the U.S. were serious about thwarting terrorism or about minimizing our exposure to acts of violence designed to make us afraid, we would have rigorous port security and massive international goodwill and cooperation in the lawful identification of anarchic, violent networks. But we don't have that. We have our sons and daughters fighting to maintain bases in the sand near oil fields, sacrificing their lives, bodies and minds for a pack of lies.

Ann Coulter and other right-wing totalitarian cheerleaders like to talk about traitors to America. George Bush and the Republicans have betrayed America, the actual laws of America and the very idea of America. On Memorial Day, as we remember our sons and daughters who have sacrficed their lives in the blistering sands of Iraq, it does their memory due honor to point this out. Noble men and women have fallen; their blood cries out for lawful justice.

In each of our minds lies the beginning of our return to freedom. So please, say it after me: "There is no 'War on Terror.'"

It's high time for America and Americans to remember our strength. We need not be afraid. When we surrender to fear, we lose our country, we lose our faith in each other, we lose our future and we lose our freedom. The best way to honor the sacrfices of our nation's men and women killed in battle is to embrace, once again, that precious liberty.

It's time to be America again.

This is what I have always believed ...

This is what I have always believed and I have been waiting to put it into writing, but you beat me to it. I applaud you for your truthful words!

Yes, the war on terror has always been a fraud. When 9/11 went down, yes, I was shocked and awed by the damage done, but I was also angry at our government -- both past and present -- for inviting the action. When you sneak around the world undermining other governments, exploiting other nations and just generally sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, you will eventually get kicked in the teeth by people who aren't going to take it anymore. The chickens truly did come home to roost.

Our past administrations set us up for the disaster, especially Reagan (I spit on his grave!) and Bush I. Then, The Worst President Ever (Bush II, for you ignorant Repugs) simply ignored the warnings, knowing full well that a new Pearl Harbor would help him grab power, shred the Constitution and scare the citizenry into accepting a rush into an immoral and illegal invasion.

War on terror? Bullshit! Doesn't exist. It's a war on your senses and morality. Some have already taken the bait. For those who doubted it and have finally wised up, maybe we have a chance to wake the others from their kool-aid slumber and possibly, together, save this nation.

No war on terror? Zawahiri didn't get the memo.

Liberal’s denial that terrorists want to kill us and calls for surrender in Iraq are step #1 in al Qaeda’s long-term plan. As Zawahiri has written, (in a letter to ‘business partner’ Zarqawi in the famous Zawahiri-Zarqawi Letter discovered in July 2005) “The jihad... requires several incremental goals... Expel the Americans from Iraq... Establish an Islamic authority over as much territory as you can to spread its power in Iraq, extend the jihad wave to the secular countries neighboring Iraq." But Zawahiri does not want to stop with Iraq’s neighbors. He has vowed, "We will either achieve victory over the human race or we will pass to the eternal life."

Knowingly or not, the anti-war left has been recruited by al Qaeda and is now working for their goal of getting the US out of Iraq, al Qaeda’s first step in ‘victory over the human race’. When Stalin labeled these people ‘useful idiots’ he could not have been more accurate.

Voter Fraud

Copied from: http://www.opednews.com

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has written a brilliant new article about the biggest political story in the history of the United States: An American politician illegitimately took the office of president by outright theft and fraud. Although such high crimes and misdemeanors have been rumored in previous elections, none in the history of the republic have been so thoroughly documented. George W. Bush is not the legitimate president of the United States.

no fear, true, but what about some power for democracy??

So who will stand up and speak up for democracy? What America needs is Constitutional experts who actually believe in the democratic process and who actually believe in ethics and values and the people. Only then can this fight begin. America does not need a Congressmen and Senators who do not want to the real work which they pledged to do so help them God. America is not even in the hands of capitalists. It is in the hands of thieves who thwart the Constitution and yes former pissers of beds who by hook and crook have manipulated the polls to get into the White House. It is in the hands of too many companies whose only aim is to be part of that dictatorship. It is in the hands of so many secret tough guys with untold monies at their disposal. So where are the oversight committees? Out of sight. Out of mind. And Americans are out of pocket. Unless there are a few good men left in America you will only have some distant memories of what used to be sometime somewhere when, unless you have sold yourself out to being enslaved by that dictatorship, you will be a third class citizen. America's money is being stolen as we speak. Noone is taking responsibility for this or even seems too worried about this. Of course this is all great news for those in power. So are there enough good men who are willing to stand up for the sake of so many good children's futures????

Orwell after Oceania conquers the world.
Posted by: wli on Jun 6, 2006 4:15 AM
Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
This starts from Orwell's notion of three superstates in a perpetual tripartite "cold war." From its inception it was a highly flawed theory of geopolitics (inasmuch as geopolitics isn't inherently flawed) because East Asia (Eastasia as per Orwell) was never a full-fledged distinct participant. Instead, the bipartite Cold War ensued between what Orwell would have deemed Oceania and Eastasia.

As often noted elsewhere, Orwell's Oceania won the purportedly eternal war, a.k.a. the Cold War. Eurasia, in the incarnation of the USSR, has been reduced to the rump state of present-day Russia. China, what would have putatively been the core of Orwell's Eastasia, has grown somewhat in prominence for something on the order of a coequal partnership with Russia, forming in the aggregate a schizophrenic Eastasian/Eurasian "super-rump-state" with few of their neighboring territories qualifying as de facto colonies. Russia scarcely has any territorial integrity and must fend off US attempts at fomenting color revolutions, NED/USAID interference in its internal politics, etc. China has long-since even had a fragment of it, Taiwan, broken off by US-backed rebels, and faces incursions from its Western flanks through former Soviet Republics subverted by the US. Furthermore, the public faces of Russia and China at the very least are relatively accommodating to the US.

In other words, Orwell's Oceania has decisively won. Eurasia and Eastasia are not really opposed but vaguely independent and partially subverted. So against whom can an eternal war, or "cold war," be waged? The answer is to declare war on the populace or subsets thereof directly. Hence, the "War on Crime," "War on Drugs," and "War on Terror." Where foreigners came before, deviants now take their place. No longer are there "competitors in the great game;" there are only madmen, criminals, and terrorists.

If this were genuine, it would be paradise; alas, it is not. Instead we have a sort of diabolical mishmash of COINTELPRO, Gladio, and death squads on a scale so grand it has never been imagined; it can only be observed pasting together disparate accounts. With COINTELPRO, only small groups of "activists" would be framed or otherwise attacked. Now whole countries at a time are, and the vast majority of countries in the world are pursuing dissidents in like fashion to how the US did in the 70's. Gladio's scale and scope was essentially the subversion of democracy and hence de facto US dictatorship over the whole of Western Europe, a thought still unimaginable to many today despite it long since having been eclipsed. Now, similar spy networks are believed to have penetrated the vast majority of the governments of the world. Death squads, once the exclusive province of Latin America, are now an essentially worldwide phenomenon. However, the common thread returns to Orwell once again: Thought Police. Instead of the ethnic, racial, or other modes of persecution more commonly witnessed throughout the 19th century or up through the mid-20th century, these affairs target ideologies and the adherents thereof for extermination.

Unlike Orwell's vision of a Stalinist dystopia, the orientation of all this is rather fascist. The "demonized enemy" is the left. The overtly-stated ideological goals are essentially wealth condensation and the like, perhaps slightly sugared with notions of individualism or capitalism or some such. (Bizarrely, Reagan, the idol of ultracapitalists, effectively preached anarcho-capitalism, all the while of course practicing something radically different and radically more corrupt.)

In any event, the "War on Terror" is a post-Orwellian eternal war, waged directly against the populace of the empire. It is not meant to be won, and winning it is even a logical impossibility. Rather, it is meant to be waged in perpetuity against the ideological heretics of the day, who are expected to be inexhaustible.

The fascist bee is stinging the world with it poisonous propaganda and deadly deeds. The fascist bee keepers must be confronted with their wanton lies and wanton deaths and wanton injuries. The only thing we have to fear is the fear generated by diabolical criminal elements that have stolen the reins of power. Give power to those who deserve it and jail to those who deserve that. Resurrect the Constitution from its diabolical destructors.

Today is 6 6 06, the day of the Beast, the Anti Christ. In short Bush Day. I have thought since Bush made his dictator remark at his inaugeration and has stirred up his religious wars Bush is the Anti Christ and his actions since only confirm my opinion. Now he is starting his scare mongering with a terror attack on the US again. I have doubts about a domestic attack, bin Ladin's goal was to ruin us economically and Bush has let him succeed beyond his (bin Ladin's) wildest dreams with his drunken spending.

If there is a war on terror, we are surely losing it! Far too many Americans are terrified enough and are willing to give up their freedom because of that. "Give me safety, take my freedom," is surely not MY motto. Free countries are not inherently safe. They are free. Free countries need not be unsafe, but those who are willing to sacrifice freedom for safety will have neither. Peace out.

An excellent article! The author has nailed this one. There are terrorists, and always have been, BUT...they aren't out to getcha!!! Bushco however is, and this moron and his cabul have outwitted the average American badly. Zogby needs to create a new poll, one that might jar the thinking process of Joe Sixpack. A couple of questions to be asked of the general public:

1. Do you think the War on Terror is a tool that is being used to manipulate you?

2. Do you believe President Bush would lie to you in order to gain power over you?

3. Do you believe there are people that are greedy enough to kill 3000 people if it would further enrich them with either power or money?

4. What do you believe to be the best quality of the United States?

5. Would you sacrifice that quality in order to FEEL secure?

The Real Terrorists are the Globalists

The devil-worshipping Secret Societies are working to one goal -- The New World Order.

World Government, a police state of mind-controlled slaves.

These days are as the days of Hitler before he burned the Reichstag.

The on-the-ground actual terrorists are the CIA operatives, who foment death and war, white slavery, kidnappings, tortures. These are the brownshirts and spies for the international gangsters (i.e. Skull and Bones, Bilderberg Group, CFR, Trilateral Commission, Vatican (ie Black Pope and Jesuits), Order of the Garter, etcetera) who make up the ILLUMINATI.

They are experts at manufacturing wars and various "crises" in order to bring power and money to themselves-- as people panic and beg the government to "save" them.

George Bush a mid-level operative for this cabal -- the Little Horn spoken of in Daniel, the one who arises from the 10 nations, takes down three kings, and then is demolished.

America IS the Great Satan thanks to the Luciferians and their willing puppets GWB and Company.

Here's a good place to order bumper stickers that say IMPEACH BUSH and

9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB/AMERICA IS IN GREAT DANGER

Former CIA analyst for the Reagan and Bush administrationsRay McGovern spoke on the Alex Jones Show recently to give his opinion that we will be attacking Iran within a few weeks. This administration will do anything to avoid impeachment proceedings, to prevent an election in November that will return power to the Dems in Congress (and immediate impeachment proceedings).

Their intention was to bring America down to the ground, to totally destroy the middle class, to depopulate most of America and even the world. This is necessary for their diabolical plans to create John Lennon's "utopia" where there are "no countries, no religion, no possessions and everybody is living for today."

The days are short if we are to do anything to save our country. We must speak up. Doesn't matter if we're Republcan, Democrat, or neither. This involves the survival of our nation, the survival of ourselves and our loved ones.

Watch Loose Change on the Net. Watch 911-Road to Tyrrany on-line (by Alex Jones) and forward it to all your friends.

Warn, warn, warn!

"We, the people of the United States, forgot how strong we are. We gave in to fear"

Isn't this self-contradicting? It should read, "Although we like to tell ourselves and everyone else how strong we are, we showed our true colors when we pissed our collective pants in unjustified fear and caved immediately to the feeblest of threats and the most transparent of ruses. American's are, it turns out, intellectually lazy and morally weak."

Revolution 2006
Posted by: robmikejas on Jun 6, 2006 7:01 AM
Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
Revolution is a word you don't hear often in America today. It brings up visions of fighting in the streets and door to door combat. It is a last resort action that is taken by a people desperate to take back the freedoms once guaranteed, an overthrowing of a criminal ruling class that seeks to solidify it's total control and subjucation of the masses within a country's borders. We've seen it time and again in countries beyond our borders and shiverred at the very thought of it happening in America. We lead such complacent lives, that the stripping away of our rights and freedoms go barely noticed to most of us...how else can you justify the re-election of our current warmongering, secretive, dishonest and psychotic administration? Do we enjoy being so consistantly abused and slowly beaten down? Do any one of you remember an America where the average citizen had a chance to participate in a secular growth and prosperity of the nation? Them good old days are going, going...gone, my friends. In place of the American Dream stands the state of American fear....Fear of economic insecureity, fear of Islam, fear of being spied upon, fear of being arrested and held without benefit of councel, fear of the death of scientific inquiry, fear of all privacy being stripped from us, fear of the world community as our enemies. There is more to fear, but I mainly fear dying in my old age as a prisoner of a soviet style regime, not unlike what we are beggining to be subject to this very day. The Revolution must be started in November with an all out movement to throw these bastards out of office and to cleanse the filthy halls of Washington DC. Barring success in November, we must take it to them personally, in front of the world press just as the Russians did, and the Poles did, and the others in this world who threw out the criminals for a better future. The United States of America and it's people must stand strong against these sons of bitches who seek to destroy our beloved country and its place in the world. Never vote Republican again! November is life altering in its implications!

... of course it's a coupe... but that happened decades ago.

The States has been run by these same right-wing mooks since the late 50s. The one time a new president tried to change things he was executed. Murdered by trained assassins in Dallas Texas in 1963.

Now, all of a sudden, America is being taken over? Rubbish, this is what you yanks are and have been.

Other people in the world don't see what's going on in the USA right now as anything different from how you people have done things in the past. The only difference is that the current "neocon" orcastrators are so poor at it, it's even noticable to Americans themselves.

America is done. Put a fork in it. Let the North American land mass break up into 7 regional constitutional democracies, and let's tell Washington D.C. that it's time to return to the swamp. The constitution cannot be saved from these criminals, the only way to preserve it is to create smaller new countries across the land that hold these sacred principals. And I am talking about the Bill of Rights, and mostly just 1-6 and 14 (and a corporation is not a person). A strong Executive Branch is also a fatal flaw of the present system and must be tweaked.

When the people of the United States were under criminal assault, George W. Bush ran away to hide in a bunker.

The primary target in Afghanistan was not the criminal organization that assaulted the United States.

There was no target in Iraq. No provocation. No threat. Sodam Insane was under the world's thumb. Whatever Bush wanted in Iraq, he wanted for himself.

New rule: If you feel afraid of what someone might do, it is okay to torment them, torture them and kill them. The same rule applies to those who conspire with them, collude with them, have family or economic ties with them or just happen to be nearby at the time. When you feel afraid, no one is innocent.

I cannot yet put down the notion that Bush sent troops to foreign lands so he could feel safer in his own. Maybe too, since he was terrified beyond reason on 11 Sep, 2001 and ran away to hide in a bunker instead of providing leadership for the people of his nation, he has little choice but to foist the fear that overwhelmed him upon his people so they might not realize what a failure he has been.

9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB

I keep saying this. Why? Because some people still don't get it.

The three towers in NYC were taken down by explosives in a controlled demolition These explosives were carefully placed over a period of week by operatives of the federal government with full knowledge and complicity of the highest levels of government.

Remember one thing if nothing else. One building, Building 7, was not hit by any plane or anything whatever. So why did Building 7 come down FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF GRAVITY into its own footprint?

Answer: The same reason the other two towers came down in a free-fall into their own footprints.

And notice I'm not even talking about the Pentagon, haven't mentioned the Pentagon in any of my postings. Don't need to. Just remember Building 7.

CONTROLLED DEMOLITION.

Buildings such as the Twin Towers and Building 7 do not go SPLAT because they are hit by a plane and there is a fire going on.

Watch Loose Change which is on-line. Just google it. This video is excellent. Or watch Alex Jones documentary, 9/11-Road to Tyranny.

Consolidation of Wealth and Power -

A very perceptive post. No neocon could get elected on a platform of lets make the rich, richer while all of us work harder under the system of economic tyranny that is code named "supply-side" economics.

The neocons have polarized America using a brilliant divide and conquer strategy. Fundamental American values that used to bring our communities together have been replaced by emotional hot-button issues. Regardless of how anyone feels about when life begins, does anyone in their right (or left) mind believe that the neocons care if a 17 year old has an abortion in Kansas?

It is all about using the divide and conquer strategy to accelerate the consolidation of wealth, and therefore power. The political landscape is merely a shadow manifestation of the underlying economic system which will hopefully be replaced in the near future with a free market system based upon intelligent and informed marketforce demand.

Everything is a distraction from an unprecedented global resource grab by a group of neocon extremists. Whether a person is "Blue" or "Red" they should be very concerned about the policies that are neither conservative or liberal, they are just plain wrong on a global scale.

Law written before 911 by Gonzales

These laws that became part of the Patriot Act were actually written before 911. Bob Barr noticed in the creation of this abomination that he had seen many of the additions to the original writers of the Patriot act before the incident took place. It turns out that Gonzales had written much of these extensions to Presidential powers and introduced them to the congress and senate on March 23, 2001.

Bush administration abandons human rights standards

I just read a book on America's long history of abuse and torture called American Methods. It is very timely considering the recent news that the Pentagon plans to omit a Geneva Convention article which bans ""cruel treatment and torture." More info on the book below:

Closing Gitmo is only the start. Find out why in American Methods

Available From South End Press

American Methods: Torture and the Logic of Domination
by Kristian Williams

The US "should cease to detain any person at Guantánamo Bay and close
this detention facility," proclaimed the United Nations Committee Against
Torture.

The call to close Guantánamo Bay is important, but to view Gitmo as a bad
apple is to ignore the rest of the report, which is deeply critical of the US
relationship with torture.

The committee also:

* said that the US should end interrogation techniques "including
methods involving sexual humiliation, 'water boarding,' 'short shackling'
and using dogs to induce fear"
* questioned the lack of prosecution of those involved in the Chicago
Police Area 2 and 3 torture "scandals"
* challenged the use of prolonged isolation in SuperMax prisons.

The fact that the report called into question practices in military detention
camps, US prisons, and US police stations comes as no surprise to Kristian
Williams, author of *American Methods: Torture and the Logic of Domination*.

"The UN report, damning as it is, really just hits the largest targets—the
most widespread practices, the most well-documented cases. What I
found in the course of my research is that the sort of abuse the UN
condemns aren't just add-ons. They're characteristic of the operations of
American power, whether at the hands of law enforcement within our
borders or of soldiers overseas."

It is this everday quality of state violence that launches Kristian Williams's
extensively researched and annotated new book *American Methods*. And
Williams's rigerous audit of the US record in underwriting human rights
violations around the globe--at home and abroad--doesn't stop at what,
but explores why. What emerges is the distinct character of American
torture, particularly its emphasis on sexual violence, misogyny, and
racialized spectacle.

"Torture is nothing new for the US. My book looks at the past 25 years,
but it would clearly be possible to trace it further back, all the way to the
Colonial period. One thing that really stands out if you examine the
country's record is the use of sexual violence as a model and method of
maintaining state power. The UN report also highlights the sexual aspect of
torture, but the report's questions are mainly, 'What abuses are occurring?'
and 'Do they violate the Convention Against Torture?,' whereas I was also
asking, 'What does torture say about our society?' and 'What does it show
us about the nature of state power?'"

Fighting your emotions

So there you have it. No country has ever successfully fought a "war" on "terror." As the author states, terror is an emotion, and our emotions are under attack.
It's under attack from our government who tweaks the Constitution by passing more draconian legislation such as the PATRIOT Act (yes, ladies and gentlemen, passed without debate or much glanced over by your senators), enforced by law enforcement who already have their hands full with other duties and refereed by judges who make the final decision as who is criminal and who is an enemy.
I don't like it.
A person gets upset when emotions are threatened. Crimes of passion appeal to our emotions. We can be accused of nearly anything (treason, dissension, etc) just because we're emotional people.
This latest idea of a war on terror has nothing to do with terrorists. Terror exists in the mind. You're more likely to die in an auto crash than from a terrorist act. Or more likely to die in a drive-by shooting than from a suicide bomber.
The terrorist preys on your emotions. He/she knows your emotional mood swings makes you vulnerable and you don't know who the perpretator is. This is what makes our soldiers exposed to daily threats in Iraq and elsewhere. A gun is no defense against this.
In sum, the "war" on "terror" is against YOU. You should fear your own government. You think Homeland Security will protect you? From what?
History has shown that authoratitve regimes from ancient kingdoms to today that you cannot control the populace through coercion or telling them to be afraid (of the unknown, i.e., foreign). We need to relieve ourselves from this sedcutive emotional mind trip. It'll kill you.

The Zogby polls show that the MAJORITY of Americans believe 9/11 was an inside job.

For Holland to write his piece as though the only "evidence" of an inside job was the hijackers that have turned up alive --

Shows he's doing the work of a disinformation agent. This is as obvious to me as the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers and Tower 7 are obvious.

We'll see how long AlterNet allows this kind of discussion at all. If they are part of the controlled media, it won't last long.

The military that could not defeat the Vietnamese, the military that cannot defeat the Iraqi, it is not about the military. It is not about what we have lost, it is about what we have found. We will get back what we have lost. Give me freedom or give me death but do not give me your protection.

Now I'm not gonna argue with you because I live a very long long way away from you. God made sure of that because the one that instructed me to try to do some good in the world didn't want a brain sucking psychic parasite anywhere within striking distance of me. That way I don't have to keep getting up at 7 am with my Cutlass and eyepatch on to have to turn up to a dual at dawn waiting on a no-good, two-bit redneck yellow-belly coward who is too lazy to get out of bed. Ah shucks, I'm only pullin your leg! Yeah right!

But to help you get back on the straight and narrow here's a website of one of America's greatest All American 'Hippies' (a term invented by the media in those God foresaken 60's). Me old hearties: Stephen Gaskin & The Farm, Tennessee.
Gaskin served as a medical man in a real world M.A.S.H operation in KOREA back in the 50's, he wrote a book about the whole damned thing.
Some twenty years later he had helped form what has come to be known as 'The General Motors' of the Intentional Community movement ( Hey Redneck! that's Navaho codetalk for Hippy Commune).
They moved onto a piece of virgin forest land in TN just 30 miles from the very Birth place of the KKK. That tought the Klan a few things about not everyone being scared by them. Besides, that land was cheap at $17 an acre. Need a revival of the courage that helped put those redneck devils into quarantine.
Since those days Stephen (the smelly hippy, you remember I was talking about him whilst you went off to wrap yourself up in the Confederate flag from off of Grandpappy's bed matress there) has set up numerous NGO voluntary operations in places far and wide as Guatemala (raped and pillaged under US backed Guerilla activity in the 70's) out to Bangladesh and through to the present day New Orleans where they have been doing good work post Katrina.
You can read about that, and donate a buck or two on the website thats coming up.

So you see, these co-called hippies and many since have had a long history of just having to learn to live peacefully and get on with life whilst actually surrounded with the uneducated inheritance of inbreeding.
You know a lot of them, those so-called rednecks, stiffnecks and other fellow lunatics, well once they saw just how hard those 'hippies' can work and not just for themselves and without taking a centime (French Dime!) of welfare, well they just changed their views and got on board.

Here's a link to PLENTY-Gaskin & The Farm's NGO platform

"This country's my land, this country's your land."
How about that Spanky; or would you still prefer, like Wee Willie Nelson the bar fight to 'a nice cup o' tea'?

Good Bible y'all, we'll be seeing you now!

What constitutional rights have you lost, hippie?

You obviously still have freedom of speech

Unless I find myself rounded up into one of Bush's "Free speech Zones". And unless I'm complaining about Bush administration policies in an email or on the phone, and I have to pause and wonder if my communication is being eavesdropped on. And unless I am a whistleblower or critic of the Bush administration, who may find him/herself quite mysteriously on a no-fly list, or, worse, threatened with prosecution or termination of my employment.

You have freedom of the press

Unless I happen to be a reporter in Iraq, who gets targeted by the Bush administration. Or a reporter in the US who is threatened with criminal prosecution for taking part in an exposé of illegal Bush administration activity.

You have freedom of assembly

And I can even get investigated, like the Quakers in Florida. But anyway, I guess waiting in a 12-hour line to vote Democrat in Ohio counts under "freedom of assembly", too.

otherwise you couldn't riot against border control

You mean the same border control that is only being addressed now, in 2006, and not in 2001? Just curious.

You still have freedom of religion

Yes, indeed--so much so that I don't even mind that the Bush administration's war on science caters to an entirely different religious view than mine. But truly, the best thing of all is that regardless of my religious affiliation or lack thereof, I get to coercively donate tax dollars to fund Christian churches and organizations, who are exempt from federal anti-discrimination law, and, despite receiving federal funds, can still refuse to hire me for not being of the same religious flavor.

---

P.S. I notice you skipped quite a few of the Amendments covered under the Bill of Rights; particularly the Fourth. Good call on your part.

Bush, Blair & The Beast
Posted by: Bulldog on Jun 6, 2006 5:03 PM

Yes today was the 6th day of the sixth month of 2006.
A few weeks ago a co-conspiracy believer and part time theology student friend said to me: "Don't you think some sort of staged attack, like Barcelona might occur on 6/6/06?"
I told him straight that these people plan to control the world by tyranny and by military force and that they don't need numerology as a guiding star to pick calendar dates to perpetrate outrages against the human race. No Sir, these people will do it when they like, that's even presuming that any more 911 level events are required. After all we can all see that the Nations have bled for all they were worth the upheavals post 911 and 7/07 and Barcelona and still the phoney 'war-on-terror' blazes ever anew.
But you know something did happen today on the 6th of the 6th that signified the position maintained by Bush's closest ally PM Blair of the UK.
Read on:
On the morning of the FIRST JUNE 2006 at 4am a massive 'anti-terrorist' raid was carried out on two Muslim occupied houses in the Forest Gate district of East London.
250 officers including members of CO13(Anti-Terrorist Branch), CO19(Specialist Firearm Command) & Public Order/Territorial Support Group (TSG) some wearing full chemical-protection suits smashed their way into a private house. Violent assault against the occupants commenced immediately when a middle aged man was smacked on the back of the head with the butt of a machine-gun. He fell to the ground and was handcuffed behind his back, in a mirror he could see blood pouring everywhere over his head and into his mouth. Two arrests of a 20 year old and his 23 year old brother followed.
Interestingly, members of MI5 (Military Intelligence) were also definately present during and subsequently following the outrage. See Met Police Press release:

250 Armed Police raid East London home.

Today despite a massive sense of incredulity that another military style raid in response to "very specific" intelligence has again occured where a police bullet has been fired (unlike the Menenezes event, this time without loss of life), Prime Minister Blair has appeared relaxed and haughty in front of all the nation's straight media to say that HE GIVES HIS FULL SUPPORT TO THE ACTIONS OF THE POLICE, MILITARY INTELLIGENCE & Chemical weapons operatives involved. Because he says he would rather have it this way than have let this run without intervention with the subsequent unknown results for the public.

Again, nothing has been found, not a speck of dust that implicates in any terror activities the MUSLIM families whose two co-joined houses were raided. Blair seems more gullible than ever and can't remember the fate of one of his 'socialist' predecessors. Harold Wilson the labour Prime-Minister was forced to resign mysteriously back in the 70's following a CIA backed coup plot now well documented and that could have led to actual military intervention from reactionary elements within the British Military and Intelligence services. (They did actually seize partial control of Heathrow airport for a while).

A replacement right-wing government is on the rise in UK set to replace the 'so-called' socialism of New-Labour, but Blair is so thick that he still responds like a spoiled puppy when GW offers to buy him lunch in front of the entire White-House press conflagration while watched by millions of TV viewers.
A poodle dog with Narcissistic personality disorder.

These politicos clearly don't give a fig about humanity with a new report due out tomorrow 7/06/2006 decrying and detailing the illegal 'extraordinary renditions' occuring with CIA backing in at least 14 EU countries and beyond.
If the devil wanted TODAY to be his day, he only had to tick it on his calendar.

On Turning off the TV
Posted by: resistance6 on Jun 6, 2006 8:12 PM
Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
I turned off my TV about 10 months ago and haven't turned it back on one time since. It had the Fox News logo burned into the screen literally.

I couldn't listen to details of one more young woman or child kidnapped by a pedophile and murdered.

Couldn't listen to any more of Hannity's lies, or O'Reilly's lies, or all the rest of the lies.

Now I listen to GCN radio on-line and surf the Net searching for truthful information. The information is there for anybody who's interested in looking. Ain't it great?

I can handle bad news. I just don't want to hear lies and "news" that's just there to distract and demoralize me.

From what I understand, our President is planning to attack Iran in the next few WEEKS. That is scary. It means World War III. I also learn on the Net that Bush is a bisexual and having an affair with Condie Rice (see Wayne Madsen Report). I also learned on the Net that Bush is a devil-worshipper who likes to flash the Illuminati hand signal. Fox News wouldn't tell me the truth about our "Christian" president.

I'm sure Fox News is full of "news reports" (ie government propaganda) about how the Iranians are so bad they need to be invaded and attacked pronto with some good old American Shock and Awe. We fell for the propaganda once -- but now twice? I'm so glad I'm not listening anymore.

In these troubling days I'm not going to just go smell the flowers. But on the other hand, I have no interest in listening to propaganda lies or time-killing distractions from the controlled media while our country goes straight down the toilet and takes us all with it.

Meantime, I'm warning people, reading my Bible, and trying to get spiritually and mentally ready for the Hell on Earth that our government is bringing down on my head in the form of the New World Order.

Our government is cruising towards ensuring that we get our asses handed to us by the Iranians, or Venezuelans, or anyone else who doesn't agree with my government's course of action in the choppy seas of diplomacy (Every other government in the world disagrees with our foreign policy, in varying degrees, except maybe the United Kingdom, while a stunning majority all of the world's population is against it.)

I believe Iran SHOULD be able to have nuclear power, and for all I care, they could have nukes, too. If I were Mr. Amadinejad, and I had a sadistic, power-hungry Bush breathing down my neck, I'd be building as many nukes as possible, as quickly as possible (only as a deterrent, nuclear weapons are evil). It is a wonder why Iran hasn't opted out of the IAEA, since it isn't doing its job at peotecting their rights. If you disagree with me, then why doesn't Israel allow IAEA inspections? They are nothing special.

I believe that we should have left Saddam alone, becuase at least there was peace (albeit forced), and a grandfather needn't worry about getting killed by US troops. I think we should leave Chavez alone, because he is just making sure that his nation is running like mine was MEANT to. He obviously cares about the wallets of his people (what...12 cents per gallon for gas?), and not in a power-hungry neo-con manner. I believe we should support Hamas (after all, the elections were obviously fair, or Hamas wouldn't be in control), because the more we strangle them, the more Palestinian youth get the impression that the US and Israel is evil, symbiotic empire, and thus TRULY creates a terrorist threat. And who can blame them? We're making enemies and alienating friends...Are we sailing for disaster?

If you pay attention to history, you will notice that Hitler and Bush have gone about their diplomacy in an eerily similar way, and their populations have also behaved in similar stride.

Bush / Neo-con US
Rigged election in Florida to get in office
Staged 9 / 11 to win popular support
Patriot Act (lethal to civil rights)
Invaded Iraq (Iran next)
Nation's population is patriotic, at least on the outside
Technology is superior to all others'
Massive propaganda (Flight 77)
possibly hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed

Hitler / Nazi Germany
Staged Reichstag fire to cause Communists to lose representation
Enabling Act (destroyed civil rights)
Invaded most of Europe
Nation's population is patriotic, at least on the outside
Technology is superior to all others'
Massive propaganda (Goebbels)
Six million purportedly killed (most likely exaggerated)

Hmm...Way too similar...It would almost seem as if the two were related. I thought the purpose of History classes was to teach us the incorrect way and the correct way of conducting affairs. Looks like Bush the Chimp failed his History classes, or simply ignored him.

Here, not a hundred miles from Belfast, Londonderry & The Bogside, the data open to public view can be interpreted in a way inferring (as un-collaborated intelligence) that UK may become victim to another one of those so-called 'home-grown' terror-attacks later this year. (Or next year.)
What is happening with the De-Menezes killing & the Forest Gate raid is a subterfuge and a surreptitious 'military coup' by proxy of the police. These are genuine military inspired & 'specific-intelligence' driven exercises.

What could be their purpose? Like one might ask: 'What can be the point or benefit of some alleged plot to enslave humanity & impose martial law?'
'What financial benefit for global capitalism would there be and what sort of an image makeover does it give for the prosperous, democratic, decadent and liberal economies of 'the West' to it's new world economic ally & 'King-of-The-East' namely CHINA?'
Well exactly, the answer is in the question isn't it!

But regarding this threat of 'home-grown' terror-attacks somewhere on the UK or European Mainland before too long!
If some such horror occurs (again) it will be almost certainly because of the collusion of Military Intelligence [MI5], The 'Special Branch' of the UK Police, the impotence of the political elite class and the complicity of the subjugate & brain-washed masses! Shock-horror.

These martial-law plans, designed for whatever purpose they will serve and for whichever emergent master yet unrecognised that we are destined to be enslaved to; this ideology so cherished by these extra-Governance outlaws require the precursor of a swift conclusion to the debate on the 'freedoms' of the individual, ID-cards and the so-called 'Home-grown' terrorism!

Let's not permit this one to get in under our EARLY WARNING radar!

For that is what occurred in Omagh, N. Ireland on 15/08/98 when 'police' informers on the inside of the 'Real-IRA' were allegedly protected, resulting in a failure of their 'handlers' to act on the 'intelligence' they had gathered, followed in quick succession by the deaths of 29 innocents on that fateful day.
Remember this! Whatever remonstrations your leaders make as to the sanctity of human life when they feign so much grief for following some 'terrorist' atrocity ...they do not give a fig. Life remains dirt-cheap when you’re on a quest for some holy grail that is the ultimate aphrodisiac of the power and authority that comes with the package of Uniting all the Nations in alienation against God.
