The Mix

No luxury suite for you!

Mick Jagger puts his foot down to prevent president Bush from staying anywhere near him at fancy Vienna hotel.
Found via Pandagon: Mick Jagger prevented George W. Bush from renting the luxe Royal Suite at Vienna, Austria's five-star Imperial Hotel.

Jagger, a vocal critic of the war in Iraq, refused to give up the suite when Bush aides tried to book it for a summit meeting. Indeed, Jagger went so far as to rent out every room on the first floor to prevent Bushie and co. from sleeping anywhere near him.

According to the UK Sun, the hotel confirmed that Bush would no longer be staying there, and booked different accomodations.

Nice one, Mick -- it's the little things.
