This would be a bigger hit than the funny 'rap' on "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies.
I could also see it sung/recited by Dylan or a Dylan imitator over the music to either Rainy Day Women or Subterannean Homesick Blues.

Or just by itself, shout it out from the rooftops!!!

I don't think it is fair to say that the President of the United States of America, our Commander in Chief, the fearless leader in war and in peace of the Free World, is a buttwipe. He has other people (approximately 270 million of them) with which he wipes his lilly-white, scrub-bush cutting, bicycle-falling, etc. ass.

But for the rest, I am in complete agreement.

After reading through the words of Mr. Will Durst I sense that he is not a supporter of Mr George "Wanker" Bush.
But I must say I agree with every word written and find it difficult to think of more to say about a president who has done more to destroy the USA than anyone in its short history other than to suggest he should be hung up by his testicles until the end of his presidency

So, thank you.
After the election of the scuss ball, the first election, I thought my country men had gone nuts, after the secound I was sure of it. I live outside of the U.S. and returned after 9/11 for a short visit. What I saw and heard made me shudder; the missinformation, out right lies and the news slanting on tv and in print that I found in the states was beyound belief. But lies and misinformation are no reason or excuse for having voted for the creep or permited this war in our name you want to see who is guilty go look in a mirror my fellow countrymen. We are.

Loved every word of it, just wish more people of the journalistic persuasion had the guts to say that, the world would have several hundred thousand people alive who died because of Bush's crimes of stupidity, greed, trying to look macho after 9 11 to divert attention from his sleeping at the wheel. By the time Bush declared mission accomplished watchdog groups in Iraq had already toted up at least 100,000 dead Iraq civilians, now they can't get their death toll made public.

The Blood of Tyrants

Current rating: Not yet rated    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
To paraphrase Tom Jeffreson;
"From time to time Liberty's Tree must be stained with the Blood of Tyrants". He should know,he had his own Geo.III to deal with. He also understood the corruptive power of centralized wealth and power. That's why he suggested revolutions every 25 yrs. They do tend to get a little messy though.
Not that I'd want to say Nancy Reagan was prophetic in any way but she did come up with a concept that would work pretty good now. JUST SAY NO!!!
No George we're not going to go to War. No we're not giving taxcuts to the rich. No we're not buying your rotten apples. No you can't use the Constitution as asswipe. No you can't make a profit while you're killing our children. No you're not going to leave the Whitehouse with retirement bennies. No you're not going back to Texas. Yes you will be going to Prison, along with Rummie,Cheney,Tenant,Rice, The NSC and your FBI flunkies. Sometimes 'NO' is better than a bullet.

Under the 3 strike rule, the jails of this country are overflowing with people caught with an unfinished joint or who swiped a set of golf clubs or a tricycle from Walmart (lest Waltons' welfare be imperiled). This slave population of over 2 million souls would surely welcome the addition of a couple of hundered neocons who knowingly sacrificed hundereds of thousands of innocent lives, consigned millions to abject poverty, bankrupted what used to be the world's greatest, now most reviled nation and are presently casting for more evil abroad and at home. I say, sentence them, confiscate their stolen loot to help the Treasury, throw them into the general melting pot of the cons who will no doubt receive them lovingly into their midst. It would be so unfair to stop at DeLay, Cunnigham and Abramoff, they are minor peons compared to the Satan's spawn polluting the corridors of power.

I agree. They can't get off easy. They will do it again. Can we torture them? I will volunteer. Just kidding, huh huh huh. These people are so brave with other peoples lives. They make me sick. They are stealing our childrens treasure. When are we going to stop them? The democrats, especially Hilliary Clinton are despicable. She seems to be provoking another war with Iran. The only people we threaten, don't have nuclear bombs. Why do you think other countries would want them for? Stop being the worlds bully. Now the Prez wants to use diplomacy, after he bankrupts our treasury and military. These people when they leave office, they will all be richer. Laughing all the way to the bank. They will let the idiot Democrats clean up the mess for them. Then after they clean the mess, these creeps will be back to do it all over again. You know why? The American people are ignorant. Untill we have an informed population, we will always be propagandized by these traitors

It is one thing to post on liberal blogs
to liberal readers your hate and disgust
for what has happened in this country.
It is quite another to take a stand and
force the situation. Far too often there
have been marches and protests and
petitions but when actually confronted
by the "Schutzstaffel" of these thugs,
those involved have dispersed like so
many roaches when the light comes on.

Passive resistance like that of Ghandi
will not work here for he was facing a
relatively civil group. These people are
not in the least bit civil and have
proved it over and over again. I am no
saying that we need to take up armed
resistance, though it may come to that.
What I am saying is that if a protest or
march is held, no matter what we need to
stand our ground. There maybe bloodshed
and it may get very messy indeed,
however this type of resolute commitment
is necessary to force these bastard's
hands. Then something may be
accomplished.

Yes, thanks to Will Durst...

Of course, Bush and Cabal Inc. are the tip of the iceberg. Though the icebergs are melting, so maybe it won't be so easy to dissemble any more, that this country is run by a corpo-fascist "black-ops" machine. Maybe it's a group of high-techno-geeks and war-porn weasels, or something in the same spectrum, but more malevolent. We won't know until full collapse is achieved.

Meanwhile, don't forget (yes, we radicals) to LOOK INSIDE when lambasting evil. Tough as it sounds, I encourage it. You know, "what is it these guys are mirroring?" What is it that we hate so much, in what, somehow, we've collectively created/allowed/become??? After all, taken more broadly, there's PLENTY of virulent-strain sickness out there, and we're falling apart, without and within. That's why it's so much fun to just have at it with these monsters!

As we sow, so shall we reap. That means it's a very difficult time coming for everyone, not just for the festering symptoms of the culture of greed and hate, not just for the toddering sock-puppets. Stay aligned, but keep circling, keep cavorting, stay in "cahoots" as Caroline Casey says!!

Steve Earle would slosh, sneer, and smoosh the words perfectly in between twangs and screeches and rythm guitars. It would be great.

And nation-states are no longer the highest form of power.

From the position of disadvantage from which the righteous now stand, I'd expect Bush et al to outlive any effort to acquire that power, and to live to a quiet old age in full impunity.

Answer these questions:
1. How many trillions of dollars does your ideology control?
2. How many major spy agencies does your ideology control?
3. How many National Security Councils or other shadow governments does your ideology control?
4. How many major transnational corporations does your ideology control?
5. How much airspace, sea space, and land area does your ideology control?

I'm sure I could add a few more, but you get the idea. You will be helpless to hold anyone accountable until you can produce the appropriate answers to these questions.

I totally agree that Bush is a false leader, and is trying to destroy all life on the Earth. I would like to see Bush be Impeached, then hung from a tree. His elitest administration only wants to rule the world, and take down much of the "Poor' population with "Bird Flu", or a made-up plague.

We're not going to get anywhere, Will, if you keep holding back.

Actually I have never read a single sentence, which more completely expresses the essence of our current situation, and the disgust that I feel as well. When the American people can finally admit to the truth about GW and his gang, and the majority of members of Congress as well, will change begin to take place.

God help us if we don't see it soon.

Before the 2000 presidential selection, the Bushitters were going around saying, "When we have a Republican in the White House and a Republican majority in Congress, just wait and see what we do!"

Uh, huh. . . Well, now we see it, and it has nearly destroyed America, its relations with most if not all other nations, and threatens to destroy much of the natural world.

Nice goin', neoCONS. Now, will you "geniuses" please step aside and let the grownups take over again, before there is nothing left to save and anarchy sets in?

Impeach; imprison; impound their assets; impose sanctions; impoverish Halliburton, etc.; impugn Bush administration impunity; immobilize this administration's immoral behavior; immediately immure the iminent danger in the White House; and immolate. . .no, we won't immolate. Impalement on the people's sword of justice will do.

Did someone somewhere say he can play guitar?? I really can't believe that. But it makes me think of the old country/bluegrass singer Jimmy Martin, "What we need is a guitar-pickin' president..."!

Sad thing is though we are blaming the wrong party. No, not even talking about the Democrats. Who owns Bush, the administration, the Republican and Democratic parties? You got it, the corporations. These are the guys who should be impaled. All the CEOs, board of directors, CFOs, etc. I'd have no objections to also including the administration, the Republican Party and the Democratic Party, but the real villains in all this are greedy, selfish, self-serving criminal, corrupt corporations.

Bush hears "Gallows". And that of course is because he has access to competent legal advice. It's a shame that it's not the advice he acts upon, but that no longer matters. The word impeach just screams for a crime to go with it, and we have too many to count. We could clog the courts with one man. So, is the charge "Jaywalking" or "War Crimes"? If you don't know, ask Bush. Or, ask yourself, how he intends to handle his difficulties. I don't think you'll care for his solutions, but you'll probably agree he has chosen his best option. And, it's not the courts.

thanks. now let's get a rapper to rap and preachers, priests and pastors all over the US and the word to preach this sermon every time church doors open..it IS the prayers of many people

i KNOW God loves George Bush but I'm so glad he's no longer Episcopalian so we all can't struggle with whether we should give him holy communion or exorsise him...we have enough to do with dealing with the so-called "Right", trying to keep the best of Xanitiy alive, along with Marley/Tutu/Cromey/Rosemary Radford Ruether/Louis Vitale/John Dear/Buddha/Gandhi--all while trying to write grants, get money and resources donating, getting cottage industries going, dealing with a grieving community of folk who just want to work, as well as spending time with the growing number of sex workers and pregnant young women who MAY never finish college, teaching that God loves everybody--especially women, children, older folks, gay/straight/bi/trans'd and as Bishop Tutu's rant included: even George Bush...

So I'm not a divine power. but I'm a long-time social justice advocate who could and would get herself killed for the lives of the People of Panama'!!! So we start with prayer vigils when the power is out, day or night, any time because "chiquita gotta get those poisonous bananas chilled" and sent to Europe so they, too, can be poisoned again and again by an YES! EVIL is the right word theocracy of twice "elected" by our one right left PERHAPS, that, too, will be gone by the time this so-called administration CAN no longer (are we sure about that? my nightmares are that the Bushes are creating nothing like any Kennedyesque family-hiring/let's get Jeb in next for two more years so only a few families have the lives of freedom, mercy, and justice!!) threaten the world and her earth, air, seas, water, creatures.

I don't want to be here when the last dolphin dies. But it might do me a lotta good to get W locked up somewhere hopefully next door to civilly disobedent, all forms of violence--especially institutional--condemned and searching always searching for new and creative ways to protest Louie kind of Franciscan!

What makes you think that Mr Bush is a conservative?

Mr Goldwater, who would admittedy not necessarily be loved in this site, at least had the decency to truly uphold and defend the Constitution. When Nixon was thinking of a coup, Barry G went to him and told him "enough was enough".

Mr. Eisenhower sent troops to the south to enforce Brown vs Board of Education. He also warned us about the military-industrial complex. And he was a conservative.

Bush's crew are fascists. Calling them "conservative" is an insult to real conservatives.

The list is entertaining, but not even the beginning of the Bush crimes, faults, and evil.

Add some more like con man, swindler, grifter, imposter, scammer, bunko, flim-flam artist, second story man ....

And then there is gutless wonder, coward, yellowbelly, chicken, spineless, no backbone, chickenhawk ...

Did Durst cover, traitor, sell out, quisling, betrayer, Judas, turncoat ...

What about worm, anelid, lower than snake's belly, degenerate, skunk, not even skunk but it's emissions, rat, rat's excretions, rear end of non-horse, non-zebra equine, equine excretions, bovine excretions, Bandini Mountain ...

These are just off the top of my head. Durst is a start, but the list could go on forever. One of the things about impeachment is that it is so inadequate. The articles of impeachment alone could fill thousands and millions of pages. The reality of Durst's list is that it should and could go on nearly into eternity.

There have been SEVERAL incidents of wedding parties being bombed by U.S. forces. The most widely reported one was in Iraq, in a small town in the western desert, probably in 2004. Not only was the wedding party bombed, but a survivor reported U.S. soldiers came through on foot afterward shooting the wounded.

But not on the people's justice.

I think seven foot steel pikes mounted vertically in the ground in front of the white house with the business end shoved up their asses to the tune of about five feet might do a better job of getting the message across.

George Bush should be arrested along with his cronies, and tried for crimes against humanity, and appropriately sentenced. He is a disgrace to the American people, and yet we let him do what he's doing. What's wrong with us...we're all too comfortable, there's too much at stake in our private worlds, and we let him get away with it. He's shameless and we should be ashamed as a nation for allowing this to happen.

We take Bush, Cheney, Rove, etc, strip them naked, and throw them in a cage full of horny AIDS-infected chimpanzees for a week of fun with the primates for acting like King Kong with a ten foot boner!

Afterwards we tie them to a turnstile hooked up to an electrical generator, spray their asses with turpentine and let them supply power for "Air America" for a week of penance for their liberal bashing and handing the press over to their pundits!

After that, we take their naked, raped and blistered asses and hand them over to Alaskan polar bears for trying to turn their homes into Texas North!

After that we collect the polar bear turds and use them to fertilize a patch of Texas scrub brush, then burn it!
