Stolen elections, faulty voting machines and political division are all themes that have been abundant this election year. They are also the themes of “Everyman,” a new graphic novel by brothers Goldman and Joe Bucco. In “Everyman,” a political organization called ONELOVE.US receives evidence of electronic voter machine fraud and, through guerrilla media tactics, attempt to inform people about the fraud before it takes place. But after a second stolen election by the incumbent President Henry R. Birch, they decide to take more drastic actions to take back the country and wake up the public.

With a plot that stems from the nightmares of many activists on the left, “Everyman” is not your average fantasy comic book. ONELOVE.US, the fictional organization in “Everyman”, attempts to unite the people in the country with promises “Restoring decency to government, along with a respect for its citizens, by promoting programs designed to unify the country person by person.”

This short 96-page comic book is a quick yet inspiring read. Unlike what happened after the election of 2000, the characters in this book decide to take to the streets, with over 4 million people protesting and rioting the second stolen election of Henry R. Birch.
