Reagan Didn't End the Cold War -- Leftist Intellectuals Did

Reagan was inspirational, but to claim he defeated Communism is a disservice to the millions of Eastern Europeans who struggled against great odds for their freedom.

The 20th anniversary of the 1989 Velvet Revolution that overthrew the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia was one of the most impressive civil insurrections in history. It was not the military might of NATO, but the power of nonviolent action by ordinary citizens which brought down the system. The popular uprising against the repressive system that had ruled their country for much of the previous four decades -- along with comparable movements, which came to the fore that year in Poland, Hungary and East Germany -- marks a great triumph of the human spirit.

These movements were largely led by democratic socialists who mobilized workers, church people, intellectuals, and others to face down the tanks with their bare hands. Yet here in the United States, we are told that it was a result of President Reagan's militarism and the supposed inherent superiority of capitalism. It is this false narrative that has played such a major role in shifting discourse to the right in subsequent decades and has been used to discredit those struggling for a more just and egalitarian economic system and a more sane and less imperialistic foreign policy.

President Reagan's verbal support for democracy had little credibility in many of these countries. For example, while he denounced Poland's martial law regime, he was a strong supporter of the more repressive martial law regime then in power in NATO ally Turkey and scores of other dictatorships. In challenging left-wing governments in the Third World, Reagan gave little credence to nonviolent action and instead backed insurgents with ties to U.S.-backed dictatorships and -- in the case of Afghanistan -- even Islamic fundamentalists.

While Reagan was certainly capable of inspirational leadership and personal charm, to claim that he is responsible for the downfall of Communism and the end of the Cold War is a disservice to the millions of Eastern Europeans and others who struggled against great odds for their freedom. For it was not American militarism, but massive nonviolent action -- including strikes, boycotts, mass demonstrations, and other forms of noncooperation -- which finally brought down these Communist regimes. Indeed, the Charter 77 movement in Czechoslovakia and the Solidarity movement in Poland emerged during the period of U.S.-Soviet détente prior to Reagan taking office.

It is very much in the interest of those in the foreign policy establishment to downplay the role of ordinary citizens making revolutionary change. The overthrow of the Soviet-styled Communist regimes of Eastern Europe were part of the pro-democracy movements that were also then sweeping Latin America and parts of Africa and Asia during this same period. Nonviolent "people power" movements similar to those in Eastern Europe were then bringing down a series of U.S.-backed dictatorships in the Philippines, Chile, Bolivia, Haiti, Mali, and elsewhere. In more recent years, such nonviolent pro-democracy struggles have triumphed in Indonesia, Serbia, the Maldives, Ukraine, Nepal, and other countries.

As with these other successful nonviolent revolutions, the Eastern European struggles were for freedom, not capitalism. While the post-Communist Polish government forced adoption of neo-liberal shock therapy, Solidarity's original manifesto called for worker control of industry, a far more authentic version of socialism than the bureaucratic authoritarianism of the supposed "worker's state" that resulted. The leading dissidents in East Germany, Czechoslovakia and Hungary also came out of the democratic left.

For this reason, there was little support in Washington for the bearded counter-culture dissidents of Eastern Europe, whose Western mentors were more likely to be John Lennon and Frank Zappa than Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. Following a meeting with leading Hungarian dissidents in July of 1989, President George H.W. Bush told his aides, "There really aren't the right guys to be running the place." Rather than back the socialist intellectuals of Poland's Workers' Defense Committee and other pro-Solidarity groups, Bush encouraged Wojciech Jaruzelski -- the general who had seized power in the 1981 coup, declared martial law, banned Solidarity and jailed hundreds of leading dissidents -- to run for president in the semi-free 1989 elections, all in the interest of "stability."

If you do maybe they will tear down the statue of Reagan they erected in appreciation for his part in supporting Lech Walesa and Solidarity, and the fall of the "Evil Empire." The Polish Pope John Paul II's statue too for that matter.

But, based on the recent celebrations at the former Wall - and where Reagan's name was never even mentioned in Hillary's speech - I suppose your version of "history" might sell with some. Of course many others might just view it as nothing more than the same old hatred that the left always had for Reagan.

Author is not entirely right

As one of those "millions of Eastern Europeans" to whom the author refers (albeit one who was born and raised in the States before moving to Soviet Latvia in 1989), I cannot fully agree with what he has written in one respect. It is not right to dismiss Reagan's massive and budget-busting military buildup as being of little consequence, and that is for two reasons. First, the Soviet Union was bleeding money because of its foolhardy war in Afghanistan, and that affected the military most of all. And second, Reagan's "star wars" program, although errant nonsense, scared the Soviet leadership into pursuing similar or defensive plans for themselves. These two things served to bankrupt financially a country which had long since been bankrupt morally and politically. Reagan was, by and large, a tragedy for the United States, but he did help to bring down the Soviet Union. In fact, among world leaders outside of the Socialist bloc, one can really point only to him and to Pope John Paul II. As noted, Reagan's successor in office was cravenly timid about the whole process. The United States waited for an unpardonably long time to recognize the restored independence of the Baltic States because George didn't want to upset friend Mikhail. But all's well that ends well, and Latvia is a free nation state -- not least thanks to Ronald Reagan.

The hippies did it

No less a personage than Mikhail Gorbachev has said that the hippies brought down communism.

I'm serious. I read an interview some years ago in which Gorbachov said the real inspiration for the fall of communism was counter-culture movement in the U.S.--curiously, the same people who scared Reagan sh*tless.

Apparently, Jimi Hendrix brought down communism. :)

Also, during the Reagan years, the Russian miltary budget did not increase. It is therefore illogical to say Reagan caused the fall of communism.

American Ego-centrism Reinforced by the MSM

The notion that it was Reagan's expertly crafted one-liners that brought down the Soviet empire is clearly a pretty ridiculous and self-serving construction of the American right. However, the fact that so many have accepted this silly notion serves as a wonderful caricature of the American propensity to think that the world simply revolves around America.

Although our own media's news rarely reports it, other people around the world do things too, and often these non-Americans do very significant things and not always under the direction of Americans. Just because we Americans tend to stick our heads in the sand and ignore what is happening around the world does not change reality, only our distorted perception of it.

Collapse of USSR was easy to foresee, in the 1970s

I could readily see in the late 1970s that the Soviet Union was in almost certain terminal decline, party due to sclerosis in the economy, and partly due to adverse demographics. Milton Friedman saw the same situation evolving, where a shortage of so-called "Great Russians" meant that the center could not hold, and dissolution loomed. Ronald Reagan was a hero for the armaments manufacturers in the US, and their platoons of lawyers, lobbyists, other influence peddlers, etc etc.

THEY DIDN'T BELIEVE IN IT ANYMORE
Posted by: marat on Nov 20, 2009 11:58 AM
Current rating: 1    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
Communism collapsed in the Soviet Union because the people no longer believed in the system. They no longer wanted to be slaves to the State. They stopped working. The conditions in hospitals and medical facilities were horrible. The people had nothing and the people did nothing to maintain the bureaucratic System of State Slavery that Soviet Communism embodied. They simply realized it was finished, that it had been a gigantic fraud, a fraud the size of which the world had never seen.

When people stop believing in what they once believed in, be it the Church as in Europe or Communism it eventually dimishes and goes away.

The horrific quality of it all, is the millions of people who suffered and died for such a foolish and idiotic idea as Marxism. That millions died for nothing. That leftist intellectuals in the U.S. supported the system intellectually for years before grudgingly admitting that the Societ System did harm to people.

That FDR aligned with Stalin who made Hitler look like a piker is something few will admit. That Bolsheviks whether Jewish or otherwise were responsible for the deaths of millions will never be admitted because horribly enough, there are still too many leftists who think that Lenin and Stalin had a "good idea."

The moral stain of Communism and the massive death and slavery of millions of people is something that leftists in America will not hold themselves accountable for. They still think that totalitarian socialism was a good idea. They continue to perpetuate this poisonous idea on us today through the propaganda of state sponsored universities who still preach Marx. They are people who do not understand liberty but who still want to enslave others to a totalitarian system of control.

After the collapse of Communism the socialist minded intellectuals who themselves had never suffered under these onerous systems became the "greens" or the environmentalists. Inflicting their notions of global warming with dire warnings of apocalypse upon others, the Marxist notions have mutated but where totalitarian control over the minds of people remains as the goal.

Did Reagan ever do anything good?

The Soviet blok collapsed of its own weight. It was an internal failure. The only decent thing Reagan did was not to start a war. The fact that right-wingers idolize him is proof enough that he was a lazy, indifferent moron whose only virtue is looking good compared with G. Worthless Bush. And if Palin somehow manages to get into office, possibly through cheating like Bush, she might make him look good. She's a perfect Refucklican candidate: stupid, ignorant, self-serving, fake-folksy, and Christian, so lets all the voters who have those same characteristics identify with her.

Anyone who believes that Reagan -- or, for that matter, the Beatles -- had anything to do with the end of the Soviet Union and its European satelites needs to read Archie Brown's The Rise and Fall of Communism

Anyone who believes that the people in thsoe countries wanted Reagan/Thatcher style unregulated capitalism needs to read Naomi Klein's The Shock Doctrine

Who brought down "communism"?
Posted by: goodsensecynic on Nov 20, 2009 1:30 PM
Current rating: 3    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
Ronald Reagan did not bring down communism. Nor did Pope John Paul II (as suggested by Carl Bernstein a few years ago), nor did Lech Walesa, Vaclav Havel nor even Mikail Gorbachev, nor did Western hippies, dippies and Yippies. Nor, indeed, did "the people" of the former Eastern Bloc countries.

Why not? Because there was never any communism to bring down. The claim itself is bogus!

If Karl Marx understood anything, it was that nothing approaching communism (material abundance, economic equality and a level of political democracy reminiscent of classical anarchism - the "withering away of the state") could be contemplated until capitalism had completed its historical mission and exhausted it's potential for growth and change. Capitalism, in case no one has noticed, has been going through a bit of a rough patch, but government (the "executive committee of the ruling class") has pulled it back from the bring once again and, though a bit dirty on the margins, is doing just fine!

Globally, Russia and China are now capitalist in a brutal and disorderly way. The Western liberal democracies continue to be capitalist, albeit in a modified manner thanks to a limited welfare state apparatus. India and Brazil are developing advanced capitalist structures. And, of course, little oases of investment wealth are popping up in places such as Seoul and Singapore.

Meanwhile, the so-called "communist" countries (though with a few stalwarts such as Cuba still defying the odds) have largely failed because they attempted the impossible feat of leaping ahead from a disintegrating feudalism into advanced communism without going through the intervening stages of social evolution.

It was like trying to transform the tiny Eohippus into a modern Clydesdale without intervening and necessary evolutionary steps.

The results were monstrous. The project was foredoomed.

Want to know who brought down what passed for "communism" in the 20th-century? The answers are simplicity itself. To the very limited extent that any single individual causes anything, the "honour" must go to the likes of Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili (better known as Joseph Stalin) and 毛澤東 (much better known as Mao Zedong or Tse-tung), for they led the futile attempt to create a post-capitalist society without having experienced the preliminary joys of capitalist transformation.

Karl Marx once observed that "revolution is nothing other than the kicking in of a rotten door." The communist revolution may or may not come in some future generation or century, but it will certainly not come to pass until capitalism has become well and truly moribund. That time, it seems to me, is still some way off.

Reagan didn't single handed take down communism. But the US government with the CIA did. You mention protest in other countries? Who do you think funded these movements? CIA via embassies. After all the CIA was designed to dismantle communism don't be ignorant to think they weren't the cause of the fall of it. High ups in the ex-Soviet government have made these claims for years. Yes I'm aware of what Gorbachev was the one that opened up the media. Even Gorbachev was quoted as saying that "it was over" just weeks before the Berlin wall fell. AS he watched with the East German President as a wave a democracy took over eastern Europe and Russia.

The greatest single factor in the fall of Communism in the USSR was the funnelling of billions of rubels into the Afghani incursion. We are headed for the same downfall. Money spent on making war against enemies, actual or perceived, is money not putting borscht in bowls and a chicken in every pot. The Russian people simply had enough and Gorby was wise enough to read the handwriting on the wall. To say that President Ray-Gun had anything to do with it is a fatuous as saying Bush prevented jihadist terrorist attacks by invading Iraq. Ever heard of a logical fallacy called "after this, because of this"?

A nation that will not fight back in the face of evil seals its fate. Those who twist logic to find excuses for terrorists or their supporters have lost a survival instinct. Liberalism, as it's mutated since the end of World War II, is a cult that preaches national suicide.

Hitler is Satan to atheists, not because of the Holocaust...Atheists loathe Hitler because he attacked Unca Jo Stalin. Liberal Jews are hoping to see a Fairy Ring of mushroom clouds over Israel, and the USA, for that matter.

Political Correctness was Mao's euphemism for The Party Line. PC is the antithisis of REALITY.

PC is a religion of Atheists...Most atheists are malignant narcissists, to the point of being autistic...M. Scott Peck..

Ever tried to have a conversation with an autistic albeit, brilliant savant child?

That's what it's like trying to get you to stop being suicidal/homicidal/nihilistic. We have to get you tied down with heavy canvas, padded locked mittens and helmets, that cover your mouths, so you don't bite or spit at us, in 4 point restraints, with about 600 to 800 mg of Thorazine..

There's absolutely nothing on God's Green Earth, that will convince you that we mean you no harm, or to forgive us. You are incapable of forgiveness and love...ESPECIALLY, OF YOURSELVES!

Most of you are absolutely terrified that we (sane people, not you) are raping Mother Nature, but can't seem to decry absolute evil, in Communism and the Jihad.

PISSIE...PACIFISM IS SUICIDE, SUICIDE IS EVIL

Or Bad Karma, if you will...

Everything the Left espouses is BAD KARMA...The two biggest are abortion and HOMOSEXUALITY.

It's believed that homosexuality is actually punishment from sexual misconduct in a past life. Suicide certainly isn't great for your Karma Quotient...

I truly couldn't believe that Buddhists and Hindus were Pussifists, so being the CURIOUS CHILD OF LIGHT THAT I AM, I Googled it...VOILA!

Perhaps the most detrimental belief that has taken hold of Buddhism is pacifism; detrimental because this attitude may have contributed to the downfall of Tibet. While the Buddha did not have to fight in physical wars, he did recognize the need to stand against evil. This is symbolized by the earth touching mudra. When the temptress, Mara, came to him to challenge his right to be there, he touched the ground with his right hand, signifying that he will stay in defense of the little people yet asleep to their Buddha nature. Mara and the astral forces did not want opposition to their evil designs upon an unsuspecting populace. By logic, they tried to subvert Gautama's desire to defend his right to be; his right to preserve the Path on Earth.

Communism is the polar opposite of the Sangha (community of the Spirit). It is a counterfeit, taking on the name of 'the brotherhood of man.,' but without God in the equation, the system will eventually breakdown. Much damage and evil works are done before this happens though. Millions of lives are lost and culture and religion destroyed. It is a battle of Light vs. Dark with reincarnated leaders at the helm who have no allegiance to God, the Buddha, the Sangha and the Tao.

I look at the Loonie Mobiles in Gayfemarxvermont, with this bumper sticker...FREE TIBET! I ask...FROM WHOM, YOU BLEEPING NIMRODS? BUSH? PALIN? RONNIE RAY GUN?

I've never met an atheist or other type of lunatic, who didn't think him/herself, the most brilliant creature in the universe. NOTHING BUT ANSWERS! You actually DECLARE REALITY! And, Mao help anybody who questions you!

Life is Yin and Yang, Mother and Father, Satan and God, Male and Female, Left and Right...DUH!

There is plenty to hate Reagan for I guess, but how many of you have ever heard of the "Holy Alliance?"

If you don't know what that is then you are missing a large peace of history about Poland's Solidarity movement and it's part in the eventual collapse of the Soviet Union. "Holy Alliance" - the short version - is a Time Magazine article about a very successful clandestine Cold War operation during the Reagan years (link below).

Some people on this thread are so off-topic and historically delusional as to make navigating it a bit painful, but perhaps that is their intent.

In any case, what is unappreciated here is the importance of Gorbachev in the fall of the USSR. I've listened to several long interviews with him over the years, and unlike most Soviet leaders he was a very serious and deep intellectual. As I've posted elsewhere, when Reagan asked him to "tear down this wall," Gorbachev said "be careful what you wish for" and then said "make it so," but passively, unlike his predecessors who were prone to authoritarian interventions.

I think the Soviet Union was an early victim of the Information Revolution and Gorbachev saw the long arc of history better than most. He essentially remained passive in the face of the inevitable instead of killing a lot of people to salvage the impossible.

Gorbachev is among the most hated people in Russia today, the feeling being that he is to blame for the post-Soviet economic collapse and the drastic decline in their living standards that resulted. On the latter, I'm inclined to blame Yeltsin, who sold the Russian economy down a river of Vodka to the neo-cons. In this context Reagan was Chauncey Gardner in "Being There."

Reagan was not inspirational to anyone who could recognize recycled movie clichés. He was an idealogue and an idiot (which may be redundent), packaged like a box of soap by the moneyed interests whom he would serve, and manipulated by those same interests to the extreme detriment of this nation and the world.

The socio-economic meltdown we are suffering through today is a direct result of policies put in place by Reagan's puppeteers. I can think of nothing nice to say about that charlatan; he wasn't even a good actor – just a lucky one.

Broke the Back of the Soviet Army, in Afghanistan. Charlie Wilson voted for Obama.

He gets a pass, because he is a Democrat. As does JFK, who loathed Communism.

Whether you believe Oswald killed JFK, or there were other shooters...Oswald was a Russian Citizen, and Castro would have loved to kill Kennedy, for the Missle Crisis and the Bay Of Pigs.

I would guess you haven't seen the movie, "Charlie Wilson's War," but I stood up and cheered when the Mujahadin started taking down Hind heliocopter(sp?) gun ships with our Stingers.

My best friend's wife couldn't go to the movie. Watching Communists being killed would have upset her too much.

I have been rather sarcastic to a couple of nut balls on your forum. I can be a perfect gentleman, as you can see.

This Christian doesn't care what you believe. I just hate it, that so many hate us, but are big supporters of the Jihad.

Christianity was not the cause of the witch trials in Salem Mass in 1692...Hysterical, prepubescent girls at the behest of a Black housekeeper, named Tituba(say titch-you-ba)were.

Tituba said she was a witch and whipped the girls into a frenzy, accusing 25 town's people of "signing the Devil's book." The GIRLS were called, "The Afflicted."

Today's afflicted are Neo Marxist Feminists. DADS are witches, by the 10s of millions. Some of you in this audience have to have a brother or son who's been exsanguinated in this fashion.

Jung Said...All Addiction Is Evil...

He listed Alcohol, Heroin and IDEALISM.

He didn't list, sex addiction. Oprah had some sex addicts on today, and commented that it is probably one of the worst addictions a person can have...(My thoughts...Sex addicts are worse than animals. Animals have sex to reproduce, for the most part.)

Oprah also said...THERE HAS TO BE A SPIRITUAL ELEMENT TO IT, IN ORDER TO RECOVER.

Addiction does not allow a person to see the world in REALITY.

I would venture a guess, that over 90% of all mental illness stems from being abused as a child.

Most people who are addicted to IDEALISM also seem to despise anything remotely resembling their fathers.

“Force One”, an elite commando unit of the Maharashtra state police, created in the aftermath of 26/11, is being trained in various aspects of counter-terrorism operations with Israeli, Russian and German trainers. The unit is slated to make its public debut in Mumbai next week on the first anniversary of the attacks, according to Mr Shivanandan, when it will march with the city police to the sites of the attack along with a display of the weaponry that has been inducted into the police force.

He had turned in his medical license, was shooting Demoral in the back of his hands, and a drunk. The SOB got sober, got his license back and went on to become a world famous novelist. I'm not going to provide his name, lest I break his anonymity...But, we were dear friends back then, and I HELPED him find a Higher Power.

I was never jealous of him. On his first novel, he received an advance from his publisher and threw a party for all of his friends in his penthouse on Boston Common, with a glass stair case. This was HIS Karma. Mine is drastically different.

I have a Christian friend who rigs an elaborate trap to catch them alive and drive them a couple of miles to drop them off in the woods.

I've shot a few red squirrels near my feeders, they were destroying them. I feed them to the blue jays. The other afternoon, I almost crashed my car to avoid hitting a red squirrel...See where I'm going with this? THERE IS A TIME TO KILL AND A TIME TO HEAL!

I. Upbringing and Childhood

Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations. Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then, his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia: a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995.

Pathological narcissism is a reaction to prolonged abuse and trauma in early childhood or early adolescence. The source of the abuse or trauma is immaterial: the perpetrators could be dysfunctional or absent parents, teachers, other adults, or peers.

We helped create the Cold War and with our anti-communism helped create the isolation and repression in Eastern Europe. Do you really thiink that following Napoleon and Hitler Russia didn't have a wish for a buffer from Europe but we called it an Iron Curtain and helped make it so. In so doing we used Eastern European countries more than we helped them and probably sparked more repressive governments in reaction.
Similarly in Carter's authorization of luring Russia to occupy Afghanistan for their Vietnam we used them and helped end the Russia and feminest friendly Afghan regime and unleash Islamic fundamentalists who later became misguided missiles homing in on us in what was not necessily an unprovoked attack. Given that Congress authorized stingers for terrorist we have not a covert operation but direct US support for terrorists. Most likely in violation of international law. And why is NATO obligated to help us with a CIA operation gone horribly wrong?

If you do maybe they will tear down the statue of Reagan they erected in appreciation for his part in supporting Lech Walesa and Solidarity, and the fall of the "Evil Empire." The Polish Pope John Paul II's statue too for that matter.

But, based on the recent celebrations at the former Wall - and where Reagan's name was never even mentioned in Hillary's speech - I suppose your version of "history" might sell with some. Of course many others might just view it as nothing more than the same old hatred that the left always had for Reagan.

Soviet citizens never hated America (like our current 'enemies' do). They wanted blue jeans and rock music from the West.

Ronnie Baby was a washed-up "B" movie actor, and already in his dotage when he took his first oath as POTUS.
He was a front man for those corporatists who destroyed the Soviets economically, and who are now eating the American people alive.

I truly couldn't believe that Buddhists and Hindus were Pussifists, so being the CURIOUS CHILD OF LIGHT THAT I AM, I Googled it...VOILA!

linked text

Muslims on Jihad, hate you as badly as me.

Best,

David Merchant 603-632-9823

PS, as I said earlier...If any of you cheese logs, wants to get cute, I will find ewe.

No sarcasm with this.

The top picture in this cell, is of Muslims beating a Hindu to death, just after Mosque.

A little further down, you will see Muslim gentlemen playing with the innards of a Jewish man, they'd just butchered. The looks on their faces makes my blood gel.

I don't know what it takes to reach some of you? This OK with you? Bush/Ray Gun/Cheney/Libby/McCarthy, cause this?

Next is a blog entry, which cronicles my demise in divorce court by a lunatic ex wife and a WOMAN'S ADVOCATE/ADA, SARAH BUEL..

There is no reason to loathe me. I was a hopless alkie and druggie for 10 years only. I'm glad I burned out quickly, which allowed me to emotionally grow up.

Here's what I look like today. I used to look like a Hippie...long hair. Now I look like Hitler, Mussolini, Dad, etc.

And, innocent people are being slaughtered in the name of Allah. Athiests! Trust me, you think that us Christians are a miserable group, of so-and-soes...You are worse INFIDELS than I am.

None of us deserves to be butchered by these bleeping animals. We didn't make them the way they are.

Russia, Germany and Israel are helping India assemble and field an anti-terrorist group.

For Those Of You Who FEEL That I'm STUPID...

Early on, in my sobriety at the Joy Of Living Group, in Harvard Square...An M.D. showed up at our meeting.

I believe it was FDR, who enlisted the help of Edgar Cayce (The Sleeping Prophet)

Cayce used to go into trances and do remote healings and prophesy(sp?)...One day a dipshit skeptic removed one of Cayce's fingernails while he was in a trance.

Getting sober in Harvard Square was a hoot. MIT and Harvard people...MENSAS HAVE THE HARDEST TIME CONNECTING WITH THE BIG GUY! IT'S SAD TO WATCH. BECAUSE, IF YOU CAN'T STAY IN THE LIGHT, YOU GO BACK AND DRINK YOURSELF TO DEATH...RATHER QUICKLY, I MIGHT ADD.

Being an American/Christian/Conservative, I am lampooned, eviscerated, exsanguinated, emasculated, crucified, boiled in oil, stoned to death, beheaded and disemboweled. Oh, Tut tut...

Matt and Trey, who are the parents of South Park, kick the shit out of Jesus, God, Christians, et al, but at least they lampoon the other side, as well.

WHEN THEY ARE BEATING MY PEOPLE UP, I CHANGE THE CHANNEL.

When they beat up my enemies, I am shaking hands with God.

I can't remember if I've wished you a Happy Thanksgiving yet...Happy Thanksgiving! And, NO, I'm not thanking the Aboriginals, who were cannibals who practiced human sacrifice.

But, her two GROWN daughters, are acting like 4 year olds, so I had a massive panic attack, took some Seroquel and set my sights on tomorrow, early afternoon.

I LOATHE Rap Music...This fact, I'm told, makes me a racist. Well, I found a Rap song, that could actually disprove my hatred of slaves.

This Rap Song skewers an evil person...See how it feels, when the shoe is on the other hand.

I actually hate Rap, because it's hateful...Bitches and hos...poppin caps in cop's asses...See how YOU like it, when it's directed at one of yours.

Adult blacks don't like Rap either...Especially, WOMEN!

But, I cannot let you bury me any deeper.
TRUTH is tough...TOUGH LOVE!

I love animals. I do not go out in my back yard and hunt mice. When they come in my house I KILL them...EVIL!

The man who wrote this article is a PhD...Sam Vaknin. Sam has on one of his sites, something about SAVING THE PLANET!...You cannot save the planet, because you cannot destroy it. So, this brilliant man has it about 95% correct.

Please try to SAVE YOUR OWN MORTAL SOULS! MOTHER NATURE WILL SURVIVE.
