CNN Must Drop Dobbs

It's ugly stuff, and CNN can't ignore it forever. The network has a choice. Either attract Latino viewers, or alienate them. It certainly can't do both.

CNN is putting some serious effort into attracting more Latino viewers, and part of this effort can be seen in Soldead O'Brien's Latino in America special.

Yet if CNN is serious about attracting a broader Latino audience, then it needs to do something about the anti-Latino bigot polluting its programming lineup. The folks at BastaDobbs.com (a project of Color of Change), have put together this fantastic primer on Lou Dobbs and his hatred for Latinos (video to the right)

It's ugly stuff, and CNN can't ignore it forever. The network has a choice. Either attract Latino viewers, or alienate them. It certainly can't do both.
