This angry mob of Palin supporters filling the streets outside CBS studios seems somewhat familiar for those of us who followed the 2008 election.

That's probably what journalist Sam Sedar was banking on when he strapped on a microphone and confronted the mob head on. What he got was a humorous collection of odd soundbites from an apparently confused group of Palin groupies all too eager to answer the former V.P. candidate's reactionary call to arms.

Watch the video yourself.

The protesters filled the streets after comedian David Letterman made a sexually suggestive joke about Palin's underage daughter Willow, whom he had confused with her 18-year-old older sister, Bristol. Letterman later apologized for the mistake, but the mob is still calling for him to be fired. Given that the events have caused record ratings for Letterman's "Late Show", the mob will most likely fail in their quest.

You can see Letterman's original joke here.
