If conservatives don't want to be seen as bitter people who cling to their guns and religion and anti-immigrant sentiments, they should stop being bitter and clinging to their guns, religion and anti-immigrant sentiments.

It's been a week now, and I still don't know what those "tea bag" protests were about. I saw signs protesting abortion, illegal immigrants, the bank bailout and that gay guy who's going to win "American Idol." But it wasn't tax day that made them crazy; it was election day. Because that's when Republicans became what they fear most: a minority.

The conservative base is absolutely apoplectic because, because ... well, nobody knows. They're mad as hell, and they're not going to take it anymore. Even though they're not quite sure what "it" is. But they know they're fed up with "it," and that "it" has got to stop.

Here are the big issues for normal people: the war, the economy, the environment, mending fences with our enemies and allies, and the rule of law.

And here's the list of Republican obsessions since President Obama took office: that his birth certificate is supposedly fake, he uses a teleprompter too much, he bowed to a Saudi guy, Europeans like him, he gives inappropriate gifts, his wife shamelessly flaunts her upper arms, and he shook hands with Hugo Chavez and slipped him the nuclear launch codes.

Do these sound like the concerns of a healthy, vibrant political party?

It's sad what's happened to the Republicans. They used to be the party of the big tent; now they're the party of the sideshow attraction, a socially awkward group of mostly white people who speak a language only they understand. Like Trekkies, but paranoid.

The GOP base is convinced that Obama is going to raise their taxes, which he just lowered. But, you say, "Bill, that's just the fringe of the Republican Party." No, it's not. The governor of Texas, Rick Perry, is not afraid to say publicly that thinking out loud about Texas seceding from the Union is appropriate considering that ... Obama wants to raise taxes 3% on 5% of the people? I'm not sure exactly what Perry's independent nation would look like, but I'm pretty sure it would be free of taxes and Planned Parenthood. And I would have to totally rethink my position on a border fence.

I know. It's not about what Obama's done. It's what he's planning. But you can't be sick and tired of something someone might do.

Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota recently said she fears that Obama will build "reeducation" camps to indoctrinate young people. But Obama hasn't made any moves toward taking anyone's guns, and with money as tight as it is, the last thing the president wants to do is run a camp where he has to shelter and feed a bunch of fat, angry white people.

Look, I get it, "real America." After an eight-year run of controlling the White House, Congress and the Supreme Court, this latest election has you feeling like a rejected husband. You've come home to find your things out on the front lawn -- or at least more things than you usually keep out on the front lawn. You're not ready to let go, but the country you love is moving on. And now you want to call it a whore and key its car.

That's what you are, the bitter divorced guy whose country has left him -- obsessing over it, haranguing it, blubbering one minute about how much you love it and vowing the next that if you cannot have it, nobody will.

But it's been almost 100 days, and your country is not coming back to you. She's found somebody new. And it's a black guy.

The healthy thing to do is to just get past it and learn to cherish the memories. You'll always have New Orleans and Abu Ghraib.

And if today's conservatives are insulted by this, because they feel they're better than the people who have the microphone in their party, then I say to them what I would say to moderate Muslims: Denounce your radicals. To paraphrase George W. Bush, either you're with them or you're embarrassed by them.

The thing that you people out of power have to remember is that the people in power are not secretly plotting against you. They don't need to. They already beat you in public.

The Great Republican Implosion of 2009
Posted by: Tom Degan on Apr 25, 2009 2:08 AM
Current rating: 5    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
"It was the best of times. It was the worst of times".

Thinking of the opening sentence of Charles Dickens' classic, A Tale of Two Cities, a tip of the hat is in order for the old master. While the last seven months have been the worst of times, they have also been, in a very real and tangible way, the best of times as well. Of course I am speaking of the utter implosion of the party that at one time it its history was reverently referred to as "the party of Lincoln". Yesterday marked the one-hundred and forty-fourth anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's death. It is not too much of a stretch of the imagination to hypothesize that were he to come back to earth today, he would not only fail to recognize his party, he would be ashamed and embarrassed to have his good name associated with it.

What we have here is your classic good news/bad news scenario....

Good news: The GOP is going down in flames.

Bad news: They are determined to bring the rest of the country down with them.

It really is kind of funny when you think about it. This is dark comedy at it's finest. If it were a screenplay it would have been written by Paddy Chayefsky. Like the hunted felon who knows damned well that he is within minutes of having his cover blown, the Right Wing extremists who have dominated America's political dialogue for almost three decades, are resorting to desperation tactics of the most deplorable (and entertaining) kind. And I'm lovin' every minute of it.

Here's their problem: They know that the insane, "trickle down", voodoo economics of the "Reagan Revolution" has been exposed for all time and eternity to be nothing better than a two-bit rip off - the economic equivalent of a Three Card Monty scam. In order for them to survive politically, it is essential that they do everything humanly possible to ensure that President Obama's effort to save the American economy - and, thus, the American people - is a complete, disastrous failure. So, what to do? That's easy! Divide, distort and distract! It's the good old, tried and true, Karl Rove theory of statecraft.

Desperate times call for desperate measures - and if there is one thing that is patently obvious to anyone bothering to pay attention, it is that these assholes are very desperate indeed. Their only option at this late stage in the game is scaring the shit out of the American people. Some are calling Barack Obama "a Socialist" Others "a Fascist". They're even calling him "the most polarizing president in history". This at a time when his approval ratings are somewhere in the mid sixties. Listening to them chirping on and on, like little magpies on an acid binge, you would think that Bush's eight year reign of divisive, reactionary insanity never even happened. Yeah! That's the ticket! It was all just a bad dream. Go back to sleep.

And then there are the revisionists. They're out there in droves; the ones who are now in the process of making a futile and pathetic attempt to rewrite history by telling us (with faces as straight as a two-by-four, I swear!) that twenty-five years in the future will find historians remembering Bush as the greatest president in American history; sort of like the way Harry Truman, unpopular in his time, is remembered today. These are the people I really pity! It reminds me of the story of the farmer who one day came across a young boy digging through a huge pile of horse manure with his bare hands. When the puzzled man asked the boy what the hell he was doing, the poor kid replied, "There's just got to be a pony in here somewhere!"

"THERE'S JUST GOT TO BE A PONY IN HERE SOMEWHERE."

They should etch those words in granite at the entrance of the George W. Bush Presidential Library.

I'd say the GOP is like a loutish, wife-beating redneck who cleaned out his wife's bank account and ran up her credit cards, then got the boot. The new beau isn't any prize, either, but he's a bit more polished. He's screwing up enough to give the ex hope, however, by picking fights and applying for new credit cards with huge limits in her name so he can entertain his buddies in style.

It's Hard to Let Go of a Fascist Dictatorship

It appears that Republicans, after sitting at the top of the heap for 8 years, suddenly don't understand why they've fallen off the mountaintop, but they must know on some (grounded) level, because they all tried to distance themselves from Bush/Cheney during the election, and they're still trying to defend the very policies they so disdained. Funny, Bill, that I was thinking this morning of the word "apopleptic" in reference to Republicans, opened AlterNet, and lo and behold....
Bush made it easy for Republicans to hold power by rejecting any and all who didn't fall in line with his agenda and by basically gutting every regulatory agency. I like to picture in my mind the smug countenances slowly melt to horror...sort of like the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz..."I'm melting, melting..."

Once Republicans decided it was OK to invade a country because of what they might do, then it was just a small step to villifying the President because of what they're afraid he might do.

Bill Maher's sick addiction to Ann Coulter

Why does Bill Maher continually give a television platform to torture-advocating, serial-liar Ann Coulter?

Why on earth does Bill Maher constantly fawn over and sell and push Ann Coulter upon his audience as a commentator of any possible validity or merit?

Doesn't Bill Maher realize that by choosing to feature and promote and give credibility to the likes of Ann Coulter as a staple of his own show and career -- he then dumbs-down his own show and it reflects very badly on his own personal sense of judgement and on his own credibility?

....... Bill is a funny guy, he's also a notorious "man slut"- he goes through women like average folks go through underwear. He and Ann used to f*** each other. I'd say they "used to be an item", but that would not be true, they f***ed for a while and they are still 'friends', meaning once in a while, schedules permitting, they still f***. Ann, I hate to say it, is probably quite a wild child when it comes down to it- politics aside she could probably suck the color out of a marble, hence Bill's attraction to this tranny looking kook. Another amusing anecdote- she is also a Deadhead, seriously!

CHILDREN MOST HARSHLY AFFECTED BY SOC HEALTHCARE
Posted by: SassyFrassy on Apr 25, 2009 8:51 AM
Current rating: 1    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
Here we have the DEMS always needing a bigger shovel for the level of UTOPIAN propaganda they want to throw at the UNSUSPECTING PUBLIC.

wanna? know the latest??? Michael moore made a progpaganda film where they attempt to bamboozle the PUBLIC by claiming CUBA'S healthcare is better than the USA ....and that the USA should go to the CUBAN model for healthcare.

WANNA KNOW??? what the reality is and whaaat they are really HIDING... the reality is in CUBA people have to BEG FROM TOURISTS for allergy inhalers and aspirin. You can bet if Americans are allowed to be bamboozled into Socialist healthcare DEMS will make SURE USA is WORSE OFF than CUBA.

According to the new stimulus if your child needs antibiotics and the GOV only wants to give them Asprin or NOTHING guess whaaat they will get ASPIRIN or NOTHING.

Whats worse.. if your/adult/child are X percent sick they ARE LEFT TO DIE.

Soc healthcare is MORE expensive AND gives NO HEALTHCARE. We are no scholar, but you don't need to be a scholar to SEE whaaat is wrong with the DEMS scenario.

DEMS LIED to claim our healthcare system is broken. SOCIALIST HEALTHCARE is MORE EXPENSIVE and gives NO HEALTHCARE.

PEOPLE, OUR MARKET BASED HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Why, sure it's not perfect. BUT THE SHORTCOMINGS it faces such as high cost of drugs and insurance---are in part THE results of the inroads the SOCIALISTS AND LIBERALS have already made into our market based health care system.

THE REAL SOLUTION TO fixing HEALTHCARE ISN'T to make UNCLE SAME/DEMS your doctor ....BUT to GIVE YOU THE PUBLIC MORE CHOICE.

ALLOWING the DEMS socialize healthcare not only would prove expensive but DEADLY. Think about it?? DEMS WANT TO SPEND MORE MONEY BUT DENY PUBLIC the meds and services it needs while GOV POCKETS THE CASH TO SPEND ON PORK.

don't ALLOW yourselves to be put off seek LEGISLATIVE and LEGAL ACTION TO KICK STIMULUS OUT AND BAILOUT. go see --The National Center for Public policy Research and American center for law and justice & Council of Seniors --A program of Civic Council

DEMS HIDING HIDDEN COSTS OF SOC HEALTHCARE THAT MAKE IT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN PRESENT SYSTEM-PART A

IN SCOTLAND-462,000 PEOPLE DIED AS A RESULT OF HEALTHCARE FAILINGS

ENGLAND---the NATIONAL HEALTHCARE JUST UP AND DECIDED TO HALT KNEE AND HIP REPLACEMENTS FOR OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE.

in SOUTH AFRICA- PATIENTS DIED after his life saving surgery was RE-CLASSIFIED as 'elective' and CANCELED seven YES THAT'S RIGHT SEVEN times until it was simply to late.

in AUSTRALIA man has been on a 90 day waiting PERIOD---for over 2 years.

in Canada -cancer patients have been DENIED life saving medicines that are standard treatment in USA and covered by USA INSURANCE.

ENGLAND AGAIN---- Alheimer's patients denied $5 a day drug that provides crucial relief because it's considered TOO EXPENSIVE.

CUBA---they are FORCED to BEG tourists for common medicines like allergy and asthma inhalers and even aspirin.

EVERYWHERE SOCIALIZED MEDICINE HAS BEEN TRIED IT HAS FAILED.

The DEMS BRAND of getting around using the term SOCIALIZED MEDICINE is to dress up their BIG GOVERNMENT schemes to bamboozle public by calling it UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE OR HEALTH CARE FOR ALL to 'diguise' the fact it should be labeled as HEALTHCARE FOR NONE so the BIG GOV can pocket the funds.

NO matter how these DEMS CALL soc med it always has the same RESULTS---RATIONED HEALTHCARE, DENIAL OF ESSENTIAL MEDICAL SERVICE, WAITING LISTS, MEDIOCRE MEDICINE, AND UNNECESSARY SUFFERING AND DEATH. and for whaaat?? so gov can pocket the funds. always the bottom line.

MEANWHILE WASH DC SLUGS end up with final say over your most intimate medical decisions NOT YOU AND NOT YOUR DOCTOR.

TAKE A LOOK .. 50% OF BRITISH AND NEW ZEALANDS WOMEN diagnosed with breast cancer DIE. however, HERE IN USA only 1/5th breast cancer sufferers DIE FROM IT. did you know hair dye are directly linked to breast cancer??

25 % CANADIA men and 50% of british men diagnosed with prostrate cancer die from it. HERE, IN USA less than 1/5th men die from it.

BRITISH-ER'S with serious illnesses are 7 times more likely to die from them than AMERICANS with such conditions.
BRITISH-ERS are also 4 times MORE likely to DIE during major surgery than Americans.

IN most countries if you are OVER A CERTAIN AGE like 75 they will let you die.

this is what awaits America if public doesn't do what it takes NOW to seek LEGAL ACTION to kick out SOC healthcare stimulus AND BAILOUT.

THE DEMS HOPE THE PUBLIC ISN'T AWARE TILL it's too late that this is only a tiny bit of the NIGHTMARE that awaits the public in the SOC HEALTHCARE AND STIMULUS AND BAILOUT

* $3.8 million for Old Tiger Stadium Conservancy AT Detroit;
* $1.9 million for Pleasure Beach water taxi service AT Connecticut;
* $1.8 million PIG odor and manure management research AT Ames, Iowa;
* $380,000 for a recreation and fairgrounds in Kotzebue, Alaska;
* $143,000 for the Greater New Haven Labor History Association AT Connecticut;
* $95,000 for Canton Symphony Orchestra Association AT Ohio; and
* $71,000 for Dance Theater Etcetera AT Brooklyn for their Tolerance through Arts initiative.

*250 million for NEW FURNITURE at homeland security (which homeland security probably doesn't need and doesn't want BUT is stuck with until the USA PUBLIC realizes PUBLIC must force WASH DC SLUGS to stop bailout and stimulus line by line)
MILLIONS for abortions in FOREIGN countries which the USA has no business subsidizing

*Citizens Against Government Waste is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in government.

* MILLIONS for a new water PARK. Even though DISNEY is shutting down some of their places because of RECESSION. however STIMULUS WANTS to throw money down drain for NEW PARK SOMEPLACE ELSE.

* HERE DEMS voted DEMS a cola of 550.22 per month WHILE deciding the PUBLIC can LIVE on 63.00 per month and HIGHER TAXES.

want to know what the ACLU thinks how 'STUPID' they view Americans. Here is what one of the Founders of the ACLU says Americans will never "knowingly" accept Socialism, but DISGUISED under "liberalism" Americans will accept every fragment; and one day wake up in a Socialist Nation and "wonder" how it all happened to them.

don't believe it? here's the quote Norman THOMAS one of the Founders of the ACLU says QUOTE Americans will never "knowingly" accept Socialism, but under "liberalism" Americans will accept every fragment; and one day wake up in a Socialist Nation and "wonder" how it all happened.
What we need to investigate is how the DEMOCRATS and ACLU think that they can continue to count on Americans being as stupid as the ACLU thinks Americans are. So they can further their Soc/glob/marx/fac/comm agenda.

it is important to SEEK legislative and LEGAL means to kick out STIMULUS and BAILOUT. the momentary re-bound in market is a TEMPORARY re-inflation bubble that GEIGHTNER AND DEMS have created and WHEN it bursts it will be WORSE than the FIRST.

On another NOTE. To the present it's only one of the 1 % group of people attempting to destroy our Nation's economic systems.

WHY? It was said to a WASH DC VIP-that the reason the Socialists think they will win this time and are doing this is because ACLU and their DEMS SLUGS - they don't think American's are " smart enough" to care to let their fingers do the walking to protect their lands, their CONSTITUTION or their freedoms. The DEMS and ACLU don't think the 99% of American's will be 'smart enough" to CARE about their country, their homes, their small business enough to kick the WASH DC SLUGS out and send them packing by way of Balagovich for NOT doing what is right to protect PUBLIC freedoms and the free enterprise system (ie meaning small business/med business) and rights.

I like much of what Bill Maher has to say. I especially like his film Religulous but just as he noted in his film Conservativism is a religion, it has no basis in reality and is counterintuitive to logic. That being said, Conservatives are not going away. The very wealthy in this country over the past 30 years have amassed huge fortunes and control most of the MSM which still makes them an extreme threat to liberty. I fear that they are re-grouping for 2012 when Barack Obama, who has already positioned himself to fail to stem the tide of the looting of the treasury, will be defeated because he is bought and paid for by very elite Wall Street Banksters. Obama lacks both the courage and a willingness to help the poor and middle-class that has been devastated Conservative ideology. He is a long way from another FDR, which is what we need right now. BTW FDR only did what he did because people who were devastated by the Great Depression were gearing up for a socialist revolt. It’s a different world now. Religious institutions and the MSM have done a very good job of creating Boogie Men and have created a class of Prols that will do what they’re told. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia. By the time 2012 rolls around, things will be so bad and so many people will be destitute, as were the people of Germany in the 30’s, we’ll welcome a Republican demagogue comparable to a Hitler or Stalin. In a recent interview Noam Chomsky made this observation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Republicans nominated Dick Cheney in 2012. Whoever this person is they’ll win. The Republicans have stolen two elections and they’re masters of this tactic. Don’t count the Conservatives as down and out.

You've already demonstrated that you can ask the difficult questions and when the answers are bullsh-- you call it bullsh-- right away, without having to go through a board of review. America needs that--at least as much as it needs your humor.

Bill is very funny however when he ridiculed the audience concerned with the facts of 911 I lost respect for him. It was also reported that his thugs roughed up the audience member that shouted at him as he was escorted out. For someone who positions himself as open minded liberal he behaved more like a right wing psycho even calling out "where's Blackwater when you need them". I think he showed his true colors that day. Bill is an opportunist with a liberal slant ... he's no better than Rush Limbaugh or Hannity.

Good writing, but mostly fiction. I watch his show most every week. He is usually out in left field...

We tea party peeps are not just upset about lib D's. We are upset w/Bush as well as Clinton, Bush, Carter...all them have continued the sell out that started at least in 1913 when the privately owned "Fed" was illegally foisted on the US.

We are upset about UN-Constitutional gov, it's size & power grabbing. We want State's rights restored, judges to interpret the law not make it or bring in international "precedents", the drug war to end, the troops to come home, MMJ & hemp to be RE-legalized & US peeps to be left alone. We are tired of trade deficits, over taxation, open borders, ILLEGAL immigration & the resulting loss of jobs. We do not want comprehensive 'reform', we want current law to be enforced. We do not like out sourcing jobs because of over taxation & regulation.

In less that 80 days BHO has spent more $ than ALL previous Prez's COMBINED! How we gonna pay for that? So much for lower taxes!!

We do NOT like unaccountable bailouts when chap 11 would be better. Gov has NO Constitutional authority to bail out anyone.

If in fact us nut jobs had our way we would shrink the size & power of the fed gov, restore State's rights, (let the state's decide gay marriage, for one thing) end the drug war, RE-legalize MMJ & hemp, get non violent drug offenders out of jail, end international interventionism, & stupid wars. We would kick the useless UN out the country, bring the troops home, close the borders, end trade deficits, chuck the inflation machine "Federal" Reserve, get the Gestapo IRS out,. We would end the illegal nationalization of private business & banks & let an honest free market prevail in selecting who stays in business. There has to be SOME regulation, but not the mess we have. We do like fascism with a happy face.

We do not like the (un)fairness doctrine & the way lib media brainwashes. If Air American & other libs were a smashing success why do they need the fairness thing?

We do not like the double standards when it comes to free speech & choice.. You can choose to kill the unborn but I can't choose to own a gun. Darwin's religion can be taught but not creationism. Some free choice. Gore can go before Congress & lie about man made global warming but his opposition is silenced. Reminds me of Harry Anslinger's antics during hearings on "killer weed". He would not let the AMA say that MJ was not dangerous & lied later saying they agreed w/him.

I predicted, accurately it turns out, that BHO would take up where GWB left off. BO's voting record made that easy. GWB took up where Clinton left off & so on with most Prez's back to at least 1913. So, when is BHO gonna bring the troops home? When is he going to fix the economy, which is not his job. Party labels are meaningless if they both do the same thing.

I guess it all boils down to "what do you want for the US?". Do you want to be sold into the New World Order's one world gov? Or do you want to be free? Neither the D's or the R's are moving US any where near real freedom. I am for freedom in conjunction w/personal responsibility. You..???

Bill Maher; the voice of reason. And, he also thinks that Republicans/Conservatives are stupid...at best. Can I hear an Amen?

In reality, the Republican Party never did have any ideas that were good for the people. All they had was lower taxes (for the rich), war, and the fear of war. What a way to live. But, behind closed doors they were laughing all the way to the bank/Pentagon.

Finally, enough voters realized that they were being screwed and lied to. It only took 30 years for America to wakeup. Now, the only people who are still asleep are white, southern, Evangelicals, with a smattering of Rednecks scattered around the country. If you want to get a feel for how these last surviving dinosaurs think, go to a gun show.

I'm not anti-gun, or anti-second amendment, but for some reason Republicans, Rednecks, and guns seem to go together. The only positive thing out of all of this is, the Republican/Rednecks are self-destructing. May they R.I.P.

people who went to the tea party protests lumped into the Repub party?

We are just as upset with lib R's as we are with lib D's. We were not on the street as members of any one party or group. We were there as upset citizens of the USA.

We are from all parties & walks of life. To say we represent the Repuke party is deceptive & very inaccurate. If you want big bro to control your life in all aspects, fine. We don't.

Just because you are not totally under the thumb of big gov yet...just give em time. From the progress they have made so far as indicated here by BB's cheer leaders, it won't be long.

Conservatives operate from their lower chakras
Posted by: 2dogarage on Apr 26, 2009 8:51 AM
Current rating: 5    [1 = poor; 5 = excellent]
The yogic philosophy of the chakra (wheel) system describes seven main areas of human development starting with survival (at the base of the spine) and ending in self-realization (called the thousand-petaled lotus on the crown of the head). In ascending order they are:

1--survival
2--sexuality
3--relationship
4--love
5--communication
6--intellect
7--self-realization

Humans who are mainly concerned with the affairs of the lower chakras have no real way of understanding an intellectual approach since their higher "wheels" are unactivated due to lack of interest.

The invasion of Iraq to privatize its oil is one of the largest lies ever perpetrated on this nation by our government. The House of Saud flew out Sept. 13. Ten days later Republican Texas billionaire oil man Ray Hunt is placed on the Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board so he and Hunt Oil will be privy to intelligence reports about Iraq's oil fields. During this time, Republicans told you our children would die in a nuclear attack from Iraq if we didn't invade for their betterment, albeit Iraq has no navy, air force, missile system, aerial defenses, never fired a bullet at us and the Republican oil thieves let the army go home after we arrived because they never considered them a threat. All orchestrated lies for hundreds of billions in oil contracts for the exploration, development, production and revenue sharing of the second largest oil reserve on the planet. Do not take your eye off the ball with the torture investigation. We're occupying a sovereing oil reserve for six years and 1.3 million Iraqis are dead and the country is in worse shape than when we began chemically bombing it. They let bin Laden go and raped our unity intentionally to steal this oil and to this day they call the dead barbarians. The demise of the Oil Thievin Party is painfully slow, not unlike George Wallage and Lester Maddox begging forgiveness for their racist ways just prior to their demise.

patriots who love the USA & are tired of seeing US sold out to one world & foreign interests. You can whine & scream, call us names & belittle us all you want. All that does is show the true nature of those who do such, especially when there is NO basis in fact for such childish blather.

Here is a much more accurate Taxed Enough Already perspective than the bilge water spewed by Maher & left leaning lib MSM. It is nice to see & hear some one speak who has a brain cell. By that I mean the Southern Avenger does not glibly & ignorantly support the Repubs. In fact he lays it out accurately against both the big 2 parties.

That Maher & the libs were so vitriolic in their asinine assessments tells me that us TEA party folks hit a huge nerve & scared the poo out of the lying libs. To any one who actually attended a TEA protest it obvious that the lib assessment was drawn from emotionalism rather than bothering to check out the facts so that an honest evaluation could be published.

I have yet to hear one single accurate truthful statement from Maher & lib MSM that accurately portrays any negative by the protesters. We were respectful, peaceful & determined. No rocks, no burning cars, no burned out stores, no one attacked. No urine filled condoms were thrown & no blatant sex acts took place. No wonder the libs hate us TEA patriots.

I have often thought that the Republican Party is like an abusive husband you read about. Leave him and he continues to stalk her. In this case it is the American People who have lived through years of abuse and kicked the louse out. If the laws of this land are followed, the louse will have to go to jail for the abuse. Divorce sometimes ain't enough, just as you say, Bill.
