Obama should start a program to help make college possible for every young person in America by giving them an opportunity to "earn" their tuition by serving our communities in any number of meaningful ways.Every kid in America should know what it means to work hard, give back to the world around them, empathize with the experience of the "other", read critically, write effectively, and PAY ATTENTION to their government. If anyone can change the minds of a generation, Obama can. But it will be tough to bypass their iPod earbuds, so he had better get the mother of all sound systems, a facebook profile, a myspace page, a livejournal, and a youtube account.
