And they are helping him manufacture his own reality:

"I've heard the same things ("terrorist," "traitor") said about me at Senator Obama's rallies"

So John McCain is attending Obama rallies? That doesn't seem like a good strategy to me, but then again, I'm no Steve Schmidt -- and that is really "Mavricky." Maybe McCain is sending his six-foot invisible rabbit Harvey to check things out for him.

And hey, way to follow up with a request for evidence there Dana Bash, when is the next McCain "Dry-Rub" get together anyhow? Good journalism.
