Ridiculous: 3 Everyday Products Now Made Just “For Her”
Apparently, there are certain products women just can’t seem to handle yet — especially if they don’t come in pink. That’s why a few companies have recently released “for her” products to help women manage everyday tasks.
1. Pens “For Her”
If you haven’t heard already, Bic, released “For Her” pens about a month ago. Bic bragged that the pens had an “elegant design” with a "thin barrel to fit a women's hand." Plus, the pens come in pinks and purples, and the occasional peach and turquoise. People were quick to write hilarious reviews on Amazon.
For example, one reviewer wrote:
The delicate shape and pretty pastel colors make it perfect for writing recipe cards, checks to my psychologist … and tracking my monthly cycle. Obviously, I don't use it for vulgar endeavors like math or filling out a voter application … Ask your husband for some extra pocket money so you can buy one today!
Ellen Degeneres also made fun of the pens in a hilarious skit a few weeks ago:
2. Car “For Her”
Driving. Such a tough task for women. Luckily Honda has put out a brand new model that will make women feel more comfortable behind the wheel. The best part? It comes in pink! Get excited ladies.
Meet the Honda Fit She’s:
According to reports, Honda said they wanted to design a Honda Fit that was “adult cute,” so they released this She’s model in Japan this past summer. (She’s is even spelled with a heart as the apostrophe). The Fit comes with all pink accents, including pink stitching and displays.
But wait — there’s more! The car will also help your skin with its special ultraviolet blocking windshield as well as its special air conditioning system — “all aimed at stopping those wrinkles that turn adult cute into just adult.”
3. Laptop “For Her”
Hey, women — do you find laptops boring? Unattractive? Hard to open? Well, luckily a personal laptop has been made just for you. A few days ago, Fujitsu put out a new Floral Kiss laptop, which “was born from the desire of Fujitsu's female employees to create a PC that women would find appealing.”
The laptop features a gold trim, zirconia adornments, a pearl-like accented power button and a floral motif design for the vents. Perhaps, its most important feature is its flip latch that opens easily “even by users with long fingernails.” And if you somehow don’t love the “Feminine Pink” color, the laptop also comes in “Luxury Brown” and “Elegant White.”
Not only is the physical hardware of the laptop attractive, but also its software, which assists women in meeting all their goals for having a laptop. The “Scrapbook” application helps us remember everything we saw that we loved while casual browsing such as the “URLs of the items, retail stores, recipes.” A horoscope application along with The “Diary” application will help women both hope for their predicted future and write about the realities of their daily lives. Genius.
And because I’m hoping by now I don’t even have to write it:
[Insert conclusion about why all these new “For Her” products are completely sexist and idiotic.]
