Lt. Dan Choi, Anti-War Activist Debate "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," U.S. Militarism

Democracy Now has a meaty, almost hour-long debate between Lt. Dan Choi, who was discharged from the army under the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy (and recently re-enlisted), and queer anti-war activist and writer Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore about whether the queer rights movement should really be focusing its energies on repealing the policy. According to Sycamore, celebrating the repeal of DADT only makes the movement complicit with our nation's wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
