Naive Paul Krugman Calls Goldman Execs "Looters"
Krugman's column today is worth reading, but the headline -- which, in fairness, was probably written by some editor -- is hopelessly naive:
Looters in Loafers
Sorry, but as we've seen many times in recent years, only people of a certain dusky complexion "loot." Goldman execs stumbled across other people's property that they wanted for themselves and they took it. Being white people, this is called "scavenging."
We want to keep the nice alliteration, so I'd recommend Krugman go in this direction next time:
Scavengers in Silk Slippers
There -- all fixed.
