Georgians Protest HOPE Scholarship Cuts

Ask any Black (or working class) college student from Georgia how they got into college and they will tell you that they got in off sheer HOPE. Since 1993 the Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally scholarship has put more than 900,000 Georgia college students through school. But as tuition costs rise, the program is running out of money and newly elected Governor Nathan Deal is pushing for cuts in the program.
