Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and U.S. journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling returned Wednesday from North Korea, one day after North Korea's leader Kim Jong-Il pardoned the two women.

Their chartered aircraft landed at 1250 GMT, and was taxiing into a hangar where the party was to address the media.

US TV journalist Lisa Ling was seen entering the plane which brought her sister Laura, whom she calls her best friend, home from the ordeal which began back in March.

Both women are married and Lee has a young daughter she has not seen since leaving on assignment.
