Bill Clinton Tells Letterman Audience What OWS Is All About: "The Country's Not Really Working for Ordinary Folks"

The Late Show With David Letterman -- not the most political of TV shows. But that means his audience could probably use a primer on what Occupy Wall Street is really about (as opposed to what the mainstream media says it's about). Last night Dave had Bill Clinton on as a guest, and he asked the former president about OWS. Turns out Bubba thinks pretty highly of the occupiers. He noted, "Essential what they're saying is that a) America has become too unequal, and b) that some of the people that cause the problem are in good shape today, and a lot of [the protesters] aren't. A lot of them have lost jobs, not been able to find new ones. So the country's not really working for ordinary folks." He adds that the protesters eventually need to come up with more concrete demands (Taibbi has some suggestions!), but ultimately he explains the frustrations of the 99% quite well.
