Olbermann and Joseph Wilson on Cheney's Torture-Defense Book Tour: Try Him for War Crimes
Last night, Keith Olbermann had former Ambassador Joseph Wilson (husband of former CIA officer Valerie Plame, who was outed by the Bush administration after a critical op-ed by Wilson) on his show for a riveting interview responding to Dick Cheney's book tour.
This somewhat sickening media tour has included a self-serving for many of his most awful decisions, including that to torture (aka enhanced interrogation) detainees in the "war on terror," and of course, the controversial, costly war in Iraq, which Wilson sounded alarms about early on.
Wilson and Olbermann discussed the way Cheney had, more than anyone, reduced US standing and moral authority in the world, and whether or not he should be tried for war crimes.
