Demand Accountability for Torture
Over the past few years, our government's highest ranking officials have launched an all-out assault on universal ideals of compassion. With their endorsement of torture, these men have violated the Geneva Conventions, the Anti-Torture Act and the War Crimes Act, among other laws.
It's our job to ensure that these arrogant, dangerous practices are never repeated. We must be vocal in our condemnation of torture in all its forms. On June 25, become part of Torture Accountability Day's nationwide demonstrations.
Make your voice heard. We owe it to those whose voices were silenced.
