Thailand and a rebel group will open talks in two weeks' time to try to end a bloody insurgency in the country's Muslim south, Malaysian premier Najib Razak said on Thursday.
Najib made the comment after talks with visiting Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. The nine-year revolt by several shadowy groups has claimed more than 5,500 lives.
