San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is expected to play in Thursday's game four of the NBA finals against the Miami Heat despite suffering a strained right hamstring.

Parker underwent an MRI exam on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after suffering the injury in game three.

The French star played 27 minutes and briefly returned to the court after going to the locker room in the third quarter to receive medical treatment.

Parker finished with six points and eight assists in Tuesday's 113-77 win over Miami. The Spurs lead the series two games to one.
