Newark, NJ Mayor Cory Booker Calls Drug War a "Nightmare," Tweets About Racist Incarceration

Last night, Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker took his drug war frustration to Twitter, where he unleashed a series of tweets slamming prohibition for perpetuating racist incarceration and economic waste. Booker did not advocate for full-scale legalization, but he did say that drug use is a medical -- not criminal -- issue. He also showed his support for legalizing medical marijuana in the state.
