Separating Fact from Fiction on Social Security

There are few issue areas that receive more skewed coverage than Social Security. The popular program's finances are in excellent shape, and even if nothing were to change, it is projected that Social Security will be able to pay out benefits for the next 75 years. Yet polls show that many young people believe they will never see any checks -- credit a massive disinformation campaign for the disconnect.
