Rick Santorum to Suspend Campaign: Watch Press Conference Live

 Here's some expected breaking news that leaves Mitt Romney very much the presumptive nominee. Via the Washington Post:

Rick Santorum will announce Tuesday that he is suspending his presidential campaign, all but bringing to a close the 2012 GOP presidential contest and formally handing the nomination to Mitt Romney, according to an official close to the campaign.

Face it, the biggest thing that Rick Santorum had going for him in most of his voters’ minds is that he was not Mitt Romney.
