Sarah Palin's "Today" Show Hosting Gig, Summed Up in Sarcastic Tweets
This morning, Sarah Palin added some fuel to the fire of the morning show wars and the culture wars both, showing up on the "Today" show as a guest-host. Why this unorthodox choice?
To counter-program "Good Morning America" which has her arch-rival Katie Couric--the newscaster who committed the unforgivable sin of once actually asking the Grizzly Mama what newspapers she read (gotcha journalism at its most yellow)--on all week.
I didn't have to search far to find an excellent sampling of the wry, the outraged, and the merely descriptive tweets about this apparently momentous "lamestream" media event:

I just watched Palin on Today/Her rhinestone flag pin on display/Perhaps while on the morning team/U shouldn't call your host lamestream

@SavannahGuthrie Sorry, Today has lost their credibility having Sarah Palin co-host. Good Morning America from now on.

Not watching Today. Has Palin quit halfway through guest-hosting?

"You're an inspiration to others Tori! You've accomplished so much" -Sarah Palin to Tori Spelling while talking about being a party hostess.
