Glenn Greenwald Takes on Andrew Sullivan and Bill Maher on Extrajudicial Killings
Last night on "Real Time with Bil Maher," Glenn Greenwald, Andrew Sullivan and Bill Maher got intoa debate about hate crimes and the extrajudicial killing of Anwar Awlaki.
Greenwald made a compelling case for forcing the government to produce evidence before killing a citizen, and for pointing out that even if we trust these kinds of sensitive national security decisions to President Obama, how do we feel about precedent being set should we elect a President Palin, Gingrich or Bachmann.
