Jon Stewart Mocks CNN's Primary Coverage by Wandering Aimlessly Around the "Daily Show" Set
We're all pretty tired of primary season, yea? Part of the reason is that the major news networks have been covering every single primary, including the ones that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, as the only important thing happening in the world. And that's lame. Last night, Jon Stewart made merciless fun of CNN's coverage of the recent Michigan caucus, which wasn't called until 10:30pm, leaving the network with a few hours to kill. Rather than filling that void by covering important global affairs, CNN just had Anderson Cooper kind of... wander around the set, talking to people about nothing in particular. It was painful. In response, Stewart took a meandering tour of his own set to visit a goofy, useless "news box."
