Sarah Palin Somehow Manages to Turn a Cute Picture of Bo the Dog Into a "War on Christmas" Crusade

Cue the right-wing outrage! The Obamas' holiday card this season features... THEIR DOG.

Yes, even Bo the White House dog is fodder for the Fox News-manufactured "War on Christmas." 

The official White House holiday card makes no mention of the word ‘Christmas’ and instead focused on Bo the First Dog based on the wishes of the First Family....Holiday presents are placed on a table underneath a poinsettia – instead of a Christmas tree.

Of course, it wouldn't have mattered what was on the card; whatever it was, Fox would have spun it into evidence that the Obamas are godless, heartless, Christmas-hating socialists. But projecting all of that baggage onto a dog is particularly low, even by Fox's standards.

Who'd Fox turn to for commentary on BoHolidayCardGate? Sarah Palin, of course. Hilarity ensues:

"It's odd," Palin said, wondering why the president's Christmas card highlights his dog instead of traditions like "family, faith and freedom."

Yeah.
