The latest creative protest tactic arising form the Occupy protests is "mic check"ing politicians or fancy events, wherein protesers enter said events and interrupt speeches with rehearesed statements made through "the people's mic."
Everyone from Karl Rove to Michele Bachmann to Scott Walker and his supporters to President Obama has been mic checked.
Last night Rachel Maddow explored the mic checking phenomenon, how it spread and what it now means for political discourse and protest.
