Amazing Video of Ohio State Senator Dressing Down Governor After Union-Busting Bill Defeated

Okay, she didn't dress him down to his face.

But on last night's live Ed Schultz show from Ohio, State Senator Nina Turner gave a rousing rebuttal to her anti-union Governor John Kasich, telling him that the people have spoken and they have told him, essentially, to sit down and listen.

Turner appeared twice, and both of her appearances are amazing: in the first short clip below when victory was anticipated--and then later in the longer Schultz/Rachel Maddow roundup of results, when victory was declared. Turner's comments appear at about 10:45 in the second video below, in which her words get even stronger and her applause lines louder.

Turner's fighting spirit, and that of her colleagues on the ground, is a reminder of all the local legislators in these labor battleground states--such as the Wisconsin state senators who fled across state lines--who have been tirelessly fighting for their constituents and are now finally seeing their work pay off.
