Heckler Calls Obama "Antichrist," is Dragged Off By Secret Service and Booed By Crowd

 President Obama may have expected some Hollywood-style fun when he showed up at an event at the House of Blues in LA with "Modern Family" actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson--but not the insane antics that ensued.

In the middle of the evening's proceedings, a heckler calling out "you are the antichrist!" was dragged away by the secret service while a jacket with another ladies' keys in its pockets were apparently tossed towards the stage.

Here's a few highlights from TPM's detailed account of the event:

At that point, a bearded man standing in the front row closest to the stage began shouting: "Christian God is the one and only true living God, the creator of Heaven and the Universe," according to White House pool coverage of the event.

The guy was still ranting while being carried out by Secret Service: "I love Jesus. Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is the son of God."

Obama stopped speaking briefly, smiling uncomfortably as the crowd booed loudly to drown him out. Eventually, police and Secret Service dragged the man through the crowd and out of the theater.

The man was still on his way out yelled one final epithet: "Jesus Christ is god, Barack Obama is the antichrist!"

Obama then made a point that he too believes that "Jesus Christ is Lord," before getting back to his stump speech.

The President apparently made a great effort to make sure everyone's belongings were returned.

One has to admire Obama's cool under fire in the video below. It certainly offers an intense look at what it's like to stand in his shoes and be a target for every crazy in the country.
